Background

Anos Voldigoad (アノス・ヴォルディゴード, Anosu Vorudigōdo) is the reincarnation of the man who was feared as the Demon King of Tyranny 2,000 years ago, and is the main protagonist of Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha.

2,000 years ago, in his previous life, Anos was an orphan. Humans killed his mother while she was pregnant with him and he was born from her corpse. He said that it was something he could never forget.

As the war between humans and demons raged on, Anos eventually grew tired of the constant fighting and decided that the only way peace could be achieved was by building walls between the four races, hoping they'd forget their grudge after a thousand years or so. Thus he formed an agreement with the God of Creation Militia, Great Spirit Reno, and the Hero Kanon and sacrificed himself to supply enough magic for the cause, saying that he would reincarnate after 2,000 years.

Despite his title as the Demon King, Anos has a definitive moral compass and generally has a kind and caring outlook. He takes a great interest in the well-being of not only his family, but also his subordinates and followers, and is quick to reward them for their loyalty. He is willing to go through great lengths to assist in their development, in order for them to reach their full potential.

Other people may see him as cruel, but his personal creed is not to kill people needlessly. Even if he would never admit it, Anos is very protective of his fellow subordinates and followers.

If there's a contradiction between this magic eye and the reason that must be destroyed, Anos will win unilaterally. Compared to the reason which makes a single event certainly happen, it's far more advantageous for this magic eye which makes this event never happen. Additionally, the contradiction turns into the power of this magic eye. This magic eye can make events that will certainly happen and/or already happened never happen, by destroying reason and creating a logical contradiction, therefore unilaterally winning. In other words, as one possible use of this magic eye, Anos can destroy a power after the power already affected him, by destroying the reason of the power and creating a logical contradiction, therefore unilaterally winning, and subsequently nullifying the power's effect as if he was never even affected to begin with. It was the original magic eyes of Anos before he suppressed its power to the utmost limit, obtaining the more reasonable Magic Eyes dyed in Destructive Purple that can destroy order, and later exchanged his right eye with the God of Destruction Aberneyu's right eye (Divine Eye(s) of Apocalypse), obtaining the much weaker Magic Eyes of Destruction. Anos is still able to use the original power of the Magic Eye(s) of Chaotic Destruction even after "losing" his right eye.
• <Silica>Reincarnation: Magic that reincarnates the user into the future. If used by someone who excels in source magic, the memories and powers of their previous life can be inherited intact.
• <Ingal>Resurrection: Magic that resurrects the target. If used within three seconds of death, the target can be resurrected without any risk.
• <Agronemut>Source Regeneration: Origin magic that uses the enemy's attack and the target's source as the origin, and restores the source to the state where it was not attacked. Normally, magic cannot be used without a source, so just before the enemy's attack hits, <Agronemut> can be sent to the future using <Rivide> to regenerate the source after its destruction.
• <Grega>Flame: A fire attribute magic that shoots out small flames. It is the lowest level fire attribute magic, but if the user has a high amount of magic power, it can be even more powerful than a <Jio Graze>.

It was the highest level fire attribute magic in the Militia World prior to the introduction of <Aviastan Jiara>. In the Mythical Age, a single user could activate multiple <Jio Graze>. Anos burned down the country Dilhade with this magic while half-asleep.
• <Rio Edram>Hell Water Destruction Waterfall: A water attribute magic that spews a jet-black waterfall upwards from the ground and fills the surrounding area with dark-coloured water that swallows its targets.
• <Jirasd>Magic Black Thunder Emperor: A lightning attribute origin magic that shoots out black lightning. Origin magic borrows power from an older and stronger existence. However, the older it is, the more uncertain its existence becomes, which makes its power difficult to control. Therefore the best way of using origin magic is to clearly know the existence which they are borrowing power from, or to borrow power from an object which they have an affinity with. By its very nature of borrowing power from the "origin", origin magic by definition cannot affect the origin itself. Origin magic cannot be activated by one's own magic power alone. It is capable of producing enough power to put someone inferior on par with someone superior.

• <Egil Grone Angdroa>Extreme Hell World Destruction Ash Magic Mortar: Anos' first world-destroying magic. Origin magic that unleashes apocalyptic flames that burn, destroy and reduce everything to ashes. It borrows power from the past God of Creation and God of Destruction of the world, from the past user themselves, and also adds the power of the present user to it. It burns what should not be burned, destroys what should not be destroyed, and reduces the entire universe to ashes. The reason why this magic isn't positioned as the highest level of fire attribute magic is because it only has the form of a flame, but is actually a completely different thing, and is more properly positioned as a "destruction attribute magic". If the apocalyptic flames are not controlled, it will destroy hundreds and thousands of worlds.
• <Gilieriam Naviem>Nirvana Seven Steps Conquest: Anos' second world-destroying magic. Deepening magic that releases the destructive power condensed at Anos' source with each step and raises the level of all power. If the seventh step is unleashed, the world will be destroyed a thousand times over, and there would still be power to spare.
• <Rivide>Time Manipulation: Origin magic that manipulates time locally. It enables the user to either go back in time or stop time.
• <Giginuvenuens>Decapitation Destruction Death Penalty Execution: Magic that plants the seeds of destruction deep into the target's source by decapitating them with a guillotine blade. Once the target is decapitated, their source will be destroyed and cannot be saved.
• <Venejiara>Wavy Body Probability Manifestation: Magic that enables the user to embody and turn into reality all possibilities simultaneously. The user's magic power fluctuates between possibilities, and so does their source and their body. For example; When using this magic the user embodies and turns into reality the possibility that they attack, and the possibility that they do not attack, all at once. Therefore, when using this magic, the user could be standing still yet attacking simultaneously.
• <Bebesd>Source Kill: Magic that enables the user to directly interact with and destroy the target's source.
• <I Gneas>All Creation Hand: Magic that enables the user to ignore physical distances, grasping and taking control of everything. It can be activated multiple times regardless of the number of hands the user has.
• <Rayon>Grasping Magic Hand: Deep magic that enables the user to grab magic either directed towards them by an enemy or that they themselves produced. The user can then either reduce said magic's raw power by compressing it in their hands or amplify its raw power by throwing it back and forth between their hands before shooting it at an enemy.
• <Hilyam Pelem>World Cosmetic Fictional Reality: Deep magic that determines the order of the domain to what those in the domain believes it to be. For example; If the user and others in the domain believe that magic cannot be used in the domain, then magic really cannot be used in the domain.

• <Venuzdonoa>Reason Destroying Sword: The magic sword of the founder which can destroy all things in creation. No matter how tough, eternal or infinite it is, Venuzdonoa will destroy it alongside its reason. Before this Reason Destroying Sword all reason is meaningless. Magical things like distances and dimensions are irrelevant. In front of this Reason Destroying Sword, all reason turns to nothing, therefore it is useless to think about what it can or cannot do. The only reason that Venuzdonoa allows to exist is the destruction of Anos' enemies. Anos can use Venuzdonoa even without holding it in his hands, but its power becomes weaker as a result.
• Two Laws Sword: A jet-black magic sword formed by transforming the body of the Two Laws Tyrant via <Athens> and connecting his body to Anos' body via <Gyze>. As a result of the connection made via <Gyze>, the Two Laws Sword acts as a second vessel for Anos, capable of containing and controlling an enormous amount of destructive power from his source. A normal vessel would immediately perish, but because the body of the Two Laws Tyrant is extraordinarily tough, it can contain an enormous amount of Anos' destructive power. Therefore, it has extraordinary attack power. As a result of being formed from the body of the Two Laws Tyrant, the Two Laws Sword gained his unique power, Two Laws Shadow Step <Dugdara>, which enables the user to directly damage the target's real body when stepping on their shadow.
