I fight to end the darkness that spawned me.

Day or night, no monster is getting the best of me.

Background

Eric Brooks was born a "Daywalker", a half-vampire, after his mother was bitten by a vampire before giving birth. Gifted with supernatural abilities from his cursed bloodline and trained to perfection in combat, he became the ultimate vampire hunter: Blade.

While Dracula seized New York, Blade was the first hero to challenged him. But armed with the Chronovium gifted by Doctor Doom, Dracula easily defeated Blade and imprisoned him beneath his castle. After the curse of eternal night was lifted and Eric was rescued, he was sent to Wakanda for a long recovery... until Shuri awakened him, recruiting him as the sharpest edge in the fight against the All-Black! During which he absorbed the powers of the Phoenix Force and Queen in Black, gaining a power never seen before, one that allowed him to defeat Hela and force her to leave Knull's side.

Powers and Stats

Keys: Blade | Polarity Edge

Tier: 6-C, higher with Bloodline Awakening | Low 1-C, higher with Bloodline Awakening

Dimensionality: 3-D

Powers and Abilities:

Resistance to Plasma Manipulation (Heroes that appear in Marvel Rivals are capable of surviving getting hit by Natasha's Plasma Burst), Radiation Manipulation (Heroes in Marvel Rivals are unaffected by the radioactive effects of attacks produced by Hulk, Bruce Banner and those empowered by them), Heat Manipulation (Heroes in Marvel Rivals can survive Johnny's extremely hot strikes), Magic/Shockwave Creation/Paralysis Inducement/Light Manipulation/Darkness Manipulation/Ice Manipulation/Soul Manipulation/Mind Manipulation/Fire Manipulation/Gravity Manipulation/Life Manipulation/Sleep Manipulation (Blocking with his sword allows him to remain unaffected by many things such as[7] Quantum Magic, raw power, radiation, Lightforce and Darkforce, Doctor Strange's magic, Human Torch's superheated plasma, Emma's mental attacks, Hela's magic, Sword of Dracula, Luna's cold, Mantis' spores, Wanda's paralysis field, Spidey's webs and more)

Same as his normal self in addition to Body Control (Gained the power of symbiotes which can control their body in various ways, such as extending them for greater range[10]), Possibly Corruption (Type 1, 2; Sword of Dracula absorbed the power of the living abyss, possibly giving it Knull's ability to corrupt all he touches, even the minds and dreams of others[11], not even divine beings such as Bast are safe from such darkness[11] and not even Adam who is a representation of light could resist it for long[11]), Fire Manipulation/Greater Life Manipulation (Those with the power of the Phoenix Force gain power to cause immense destruction and absorb life force of others[12]), Creation (Those with the Phoenix Force can create objects from their flames[13]), Flight (The Phoenix Force allows one to fly and create wings of fire[14][15]), Size Manipulation (Symbiotes can alter both their shape and size[16]), Statistics Amplification (Symbiotes are incredibly resilient and make themselves stronger[16]), Corrosion Inducement (Symbiotes can dissolve clothing[17] and other things at a cellular level[16]), Telepathy (Symbiotes can share information with each other through the hivemind or create connections with others to do the same[18]), Limited Paradox Existence (Blade's power is both Knull's darkness and Phoenix's light, both the void and existence itself[19]), Greater Non-Physical Interaction (The power of the Phoenix is the power of order, life, light and rebirth, allowing the wielder to interact with Knull)

Attack Potency: Island level (Blade is comparable to heroes of New York like the Fantastic Four, using his Ancestral Sword, Blade defeated Bast[1]), higher with Bloodline Awakening | Low Macroverse level (By combining his boosted power from Hela and the strength of the Phoenix, Blade completely overcame the Queen in Black[23]), higher with Bloodline Awakening

Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Many characters such as Thor, Storm[24] and Star-Lord are capable of shooting out and bringing down lightning onto their enemies[4]) | Massively Hypersonic

Lifting Strength: At least Superhuman, possibly Class 100 (Blade is incredibly powerful as a daywalker, making him possibly even more powerful than Bucky's tentacle arm or as powerful as the Hulk as he can keep up with the likes of Dracula in combat) | Class 100 (Blade's power exceeded that of all heroes besides Wanda and Phoenix when he absorbed Hela's power, making him more powerful than even Thor)

Durability: Island level (Blade is comparable to the likes of Dracula who outclasses most heroes) | Low Macroverse level (Withstood attacks from Queen in Black, Hela)

Stamina: His stamina should be comparable to Captain America's as shown with others vampires keeping up with Black Panther, Moon Knight and Spider-Man.

Range: Standard Melee Range, Extended Melee Range with Sword of Dracula and Ancestral Sword, Tens of Meters with Thousand-Fold Slash, Hundreds of Meters with Hunter's Shotgun, Planetary with Phoenix Force, Intergalactic with Telepathy

Standard Equipment: Ancestral Sword, Sword of Dracula, Hunter's Shotgun

Intelligence: Blade is an incredibly adept fighter, being capable of matching Dracula in combat and even figuring out how to use Polarity, a fusion of Phoenix and Knull's powers.

Weaknesses: Vampires are harder to heal than regular beings, making Blade difficult to heal when he awakens his bloodline[7]. | Cosmic power calms Symbiotes[25]. Symbiotes are weak to fire, sound[26] and lightning[4], but it is likely those with Polarity lack these weaknesses due to the Phoenix.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Ancestral Sword: The sword that came from Blade's own soul.
  • Hunter's Shotgun: A shotgun that fires stakes, best at mid-range.
  • Thousand-Fold Slash: Charge power and swiftly draw the Sword of Dracula, executing a powerful Iaido strike as you dash forward, leaving behind a slashing zone where the sword automatically strikes enemies. Enemies hit suffer Reduced Healing.
  • Daywalker Dash: Dash forward. If wielding your gun, shoot at enemies upon impact, applying a Healing Reduction effect. If wielding your sword, deliver a cleaving strike that inflicts Slow.
  • Bloodline Awakening: Awaken the Dhampir bloodline, enhancing slash speed during continuous attacks and triggering Whirlwind Slash. While under this state, you suffer Reduced Healing, but attacks gain Lifesteal.
  • Scarlet Shroud: Parry with Ancestral Sword to become Unstoppable for a brief period, reducing damage taken from the front and decreasing the cooldown of Daywalker Dash.
  • New Moon: Cloak & Dagger can inject light and dark energy into Moon Knight and Blade to create a Light & Dark Realm where Moon Knight and Blade can become Invisible and gain Healing Over Time. Blade can unleash Swift Strike toward a targeted enemy.
