Summary
The term Broadway Force refers to the ability of being able to make others dance, whether willingly or forcibly, and being able to cause large groups of people to dance. Unlike abilities like Body Puppetry or Social Influencing, the user can cause this to happen by starting a musical number, up to causing not only animals or other beings to sing with them, but sometimes give them an extension of Toon Force or Reality Warping. While also associated with Mind Manipulation and Empathic Manipulation, it is not always attached to this either.
Types
Type 1: Mostly associated with Subjective Reality and Toon Force, the character can cause an entire musical number, changing what happens in the show or media slightly by causing an entire musical number, meaning they can have fictional objects appear as if they're real, even if they likely are not.
- Examples: Charlie Magne (Vivziepopverse), Dr. Doofenshmirtz (Phineas and Ferb), Festival Dance Kirby (Kirby)
Type 2: Mostly associated with Body Puppetry or Mind Manipulation, the character can forcibly cause others to dance, causing them to partake in dancing against their will.
- Examples: The Music Meister (Batman: Brave and the Bold), The Pied Pieper (Shrek), King Louie (The Jungle Book), Jonesy (Fortnite)
Type 3: Mostly associated with Social Influencing or Toon Force, the character can cause a musical number, but unlike the other two types, this does not force others against their will to partake in the dancing, and typically in most cases, they just have a role as a vocal in the music number, meaning that this doesn't prevent anything from happening outside of this.
- Examples: Characters from My Little Pony, Uberhero (Patapon) with the Pon-Chaka song
Limitations
- A character may not be able to use specific types of Broadway Force in the way that they must start singing in the first place to even activate it.
