Background

The Darkforce Dimension is an extra-dimensional space outside of the universe, likely mirroring its sister dimension, the Lightforce Dimension. This dimension is the source of exotic powers used by people like Mister Negative and the Cloak. It is a hungry dimension, longing for light and life (due to lacking both), stealing it away from people, and even universes, to feed itself. It's inhabitants often possess others in the Earthly planes to feed themselves and this dimension.

The dimension hosts various types of creatures of varying sizes and powers. However, they share a common goal of feeding on light and life itself.

Like it's inhabitants, who needs[1] constant sustenance[2] of life and light, it also requires that in hopes of fending off its eternal hunger. It needs a host as a tether[3] to absorb the life, light, and the soul of living beings.

Powers and Stats

Dimensionality: Inapplicable

Powers and Abilities:

Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Darkness Manipulation, Dimensional Manipulation and Energy Manipulation (A key ability of Darkforce users is the ability to manipulate darkness and shadows. Serving as a tether to the Darkforce Dimension[3], users brings the a portion of the dimension itself to Earth when using their power[4]. Ecstasy used shadows to pull Cloak into this light-less dimension[3]. Ecstasy used Cloak's own cloak to pull him into the Darkforce Dimension[3]. Blackout confined Moonstone in a cocoon[5]. Can travel in shadows[6]. Hydra[7] used Darkforce to imprison whole of Manhattan inside a shield[8]. That led to Manhattan being invaded by Darkfroce Dimension creatures[9]. Tandy manifested the darkness on Earth to attack Negative's mob[10]. Cloak did this[10]. Cloak in the Darkforce Dimension rearranged a portion of the planet and suggested he could reshape the whole planet[10]. Using the Darkforce, Cloak was able to heal someone[10]. Can make use of other darkness, that isn't from the Darkforce[11]. When Tandy was corrupted, she created a small tornado of darkness[1]. Black Light could shoot beams of darkness from his eyes[12] and hands[13]. Nightshade called the darkness from Darkforce Dimension into the main universe.[12] Dakrforce attacks hurts very differently[14] Darkforce users can blow up and spread the infection of Darkforce into the world,[15][16] allowing the dimension to shift to the main on a massive scale. Bladed created tentacles of darkness and restrained Black panther[17] Blade levitated himself using the darkness[18]), Durability Negation (Shown here[14]), BFR, Dimensional Travel, Teleportation, Space-Time Manipulation, and Portal Creation (One of the most common uses of the Darkforce is the ability to travel to other places[2], including other dimensions. Cloak's cloak is a portal to the Darkforce Dimension. Ecstasy used shadows to pull Cloak into this light-less dimension[3]. Blackout[19] banished Captain Marvel to the Darkforce Dimension[20]. Blackout could teleport.[5] Tandy with the Darkforce powers ripped a hole through space-time and created a portal to the Darkfroce Dimension.[21]), Non-Physical Interaction (Blackout bound Captain Marvel in her energy form[19]), Forcefield Creation (Shown here[5]), Dimensional Storage (Shown here[6]), Mind Manipulation and Corruption (Can corrupt a person in various ways[10]. Mister Negative can corrupt others with Darkforce energy, forcing[10] them to become his slaves. Corrupted Tandy, a Lightforce user.[22]), Astral Projection and Illusion Creation (When Tandy was being corrupted, she projected herself across the Darkforce Dimension[10]), Earth Manipulation (Cloak in the Darkforce Dimension rearranged a portion of the planet and suggested he could reshape the whole planet[10].) Healing (sing the Darkforce, Cloak was able to heal someone[10]), Explosion Manipulation (Darkforce users can blow up and spread the infection of Darkforce into the world,[15][16] allowing the dimension to shift to the main on a massive scale), Cloth Manipulation (Cloak can use his cloak as an extension of his own body[22]. Can extend his cloak to great lengths[23]), Extrasensory Perception (Can sense other Dakrforce users[1]. Can sense fear[24]), Flight (Cloak can fly[25]. Tandy was floating when she got the Darkforce powers[1]. Black Light[12] can also fly[13] Blade levitated himself using the darkness[18]), Multiple Minds (Users of Darkforce powers are possessed[21] by an object or thing from that dimension, as such, there are usually more than one mind occupying the body[21]), Telepathy (Cloak and Dagger has a psychic link[11]), Power Nullification (Can nullify Lightforce[22]. Noir nullified Power Man's powers and connection to Chi.[26][27] Mister Negative can negate abilities[28]), Death Manipulation (Scaling to Lightforce users, who can do this[23]), Intangibility (Shown[29] here[30])

All previous plus; Greater Mind Manipulation and Information Manipulation (Created a thought space that is only accessible to some.[31] Datasong is pure information[32], which originates[31] in a small place within the Darkfroce Dimension), Incorporeality and Inorganic Physiology (Lacks physical forms and are made of energy), Greater Corruption, Possession and Power Bestowal (The demons (or objects[26]) from Darkfroce Dimension possess humans in order to operate on Earth effectively and grants them various powers.[21] Mr Negative's other half, possessed Tandy for a bit, despite her resistance to Mr Negative's corruptive and possessive powers[21]), Greater BFR, Dimensional Travel, Teleportation, Space-Time Manipulation and Portal Creation (A demon from the dimension pulled Cloak into the Darkforce dimension to use him as a large portal[21]. An inhabitant of Darkforce Dimension ripped a hole through space-time of normal reality to create a portal[33]), Large Size (Up to at least Type 5. Some of the inhabitants are immensely huge. Largest known entity is as big as a planet[21]), Fusionism (Can also fuse with their hosts[21])

All previous, which have been enhanced to even greater levels, plus; Temperature Manipulation (The dimension is very cold[3]) Light, Life, Energy, and Soul Absorption (Absorbs the light[3] of life[23] and[6] soul[3]. Absorbed energy of a weapon[4]), Fear Manipulation, Empathic Manipulation, and Madness Manipulation (The dimension drives people[3] mad by showing them their worst[6] fears and nightmares[3] over and over[34] again as it sucks their existence.), Resurrection (Shown here[6]), Higher-Dimensional Existence (Is a higher dimension), Greater Forcefield Creation and Sealing (Encased[16] the entire planet in Darkforce energies[15]), Illusion Creation and even Greater Mind Manipulation (Shown here[32]).

Size: High Ascendent level (Located outside of many universes, the Darkforce Dimension is a reality of its own.[11] Can hold Oblivion's avatar.[35] Oblivion's avatar cannot enter the Timestream - the universe/Eternity - if it did, it will bring untold amount of cosmic catastrophes with it, and likely cause it to cease existing,[36] as such, he always manifests in regions such as the Darkforce Dimension or in the Overspace. Ecstasy, empowered by this dimension, blasted away Doctor Strange. However, it is far weaker than Agamato.[3] Stronger[7] than Doctor Strange[9], however, the latter did not have his equipment or the Eye of Agamato. A demon from the Darkforce Dimension, the Devourer, is older than universe and has hunger for the light of the universe. Stated to be capable of devouring the whole universe[21]. Fraternity of Raptors are designed after a Darkforce entity, or an entity imprisoned within the Null Space, a small region of Darkforce, known as Ratha'kon. Ratha'kon is considered to be a predator to the enigmatic and ever-living Phoenix Force[37]. The newly revived Ratha'kon, taking over the body of Robbie Richard, viewed the newly reborn Infinity Gems, now known as Infinity Stones, as something smaller than itself[38]. Despite being partially weakened by Khonshu removing parts of the barrier, a Darkforce Dimension empowered Blade was capable of battling Scarlet Witch, who now has Darkhold - who could not even stop the invasion of this dimension at it's premature stage[39], and All-Father Thor. Doctor Doom with all his might could not battle the invasion without becoming the Sorcerer Supreme and combining his might with various other mystics, including Flatine being, a higher dimensional being, to finally remove the darkforce barrier and repel the invasion[40])

Durability: High Ascendent level

Environment: Dangerous (The dimension is extremely hostile towards visitors. Upon entering the dimension, people are often forced to revisit their worst[3] memories and nightmares, ultimately driving them into madness. The dimension uses these tactics to hurt visitors and then to steal the light of their life. The inhabitants are also extremely hostile towards visitors. They would often try and possess them (or use them in any way possible) so they can ride them to the earthly planes to feed on people.)

Area(s):

  • Null Space & Tree of Shadows: A region that holds the Fraternity of Raptors.
  • Various planet-like regions where its inhabitants live.

Entities:

  • The Devourer: A demon from the Darkforce Dimension, the Devourer, is older than universe and has hunger for the light of the universe. Stated to be capable of devouring the whole universe[21].
  • Mister Negative: The demon bonded to Martin Li.
  • The Predator: The demon bonded to Cloak via his cloak.
  • Fraternity of Raptors: The Fraternity of Raptors, created to serve the Shi'ar, maintain their Tree of Shadows in Null Space. The tree was the way-point from which the Fraternity are connected to their Raptor Amulets and to each other. The Fraternity of Raptors, founded to serve the Shi'ar, maintains their Tree of Shadows in Null Space. The tree served as the fraternity's connection to its Raptor Amulets and one another. The Raptors live in crystals on the tree's branches, connected to their amulets in regular dimensional space. When the parasitic amulets bond to a host, the Raptor manifests in real space, while the host is transported to Null Space as a living battery. The Tree of Shadows and its guests are protected by demonic life forms who are faithful to "the source."
  • And countless other demons.

Atmosphere:

  • Pure darkness and has no mass,[3] and it is very cold.[3]
  • The Darkforce Dimension is very hard to traverse as there is no light at all. Due to its lack of form, or even landmarks, it makes it absolutely impossible for anyone to move to the "right" place within this dimension. In addition, upon entering the dimension, people are often forced to revisit their worst[3] memories and nightmares, ultimately driving them into madness. Finding your way around this dimension, or even leaving it, is an impossible task that very few have managed to accomplish.
