| “ | You have been sheltered by the light... for far too long. The time has come for darkness to reign. Soon, your resolve will crumble. You will be stretched too thin. There will be nowhere left to hide, and your fire shall cease to burn... for no light shall survive in my empire of eternal night! | „ |
Background
King of Vampires, Vlad Tepes Dracula, had always wished for his kind to dominate the Earth and when Doctor Doom came offering the power to plunge the entire New York city into Eternal Night he accepted it with suspicion. Using the Darkhold and Blood Chronovium he turned New York into a city of vampires. Alongside Doom he had also taken down Ratatoskr from the World Tree, attempting to use her power for his own ends...
Many heroes attempted to take him down, first being the vampire hunter Blade, who was easily defeated alongside Spider-Man and Human Torch. Shortly after he used the power of Blood Chronovium to take T'Challa from Bast's hands and turn him into a vampire and stop him from helping Mister Fantastic in curing the vampiric power.
After Doctor Strange managed to escape the Astral Realm, pages of the Darkhold scattered across New York and so started Dracula's hunt for the Vampiric Verses, a spell that turns others into vampires. Eventually he was taken down by Invisible Woman's invasion team, primarily Squirrel Girl, who had freed Ratatoskr, but the one who killed him was Doctor Doom who had used his blood and blood of his vampires to create Pure Blood Chronovium.

Weaknesses: Vampires are harder to heal than regular beings[15], and cannot survive daylight[10].
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Vampiric Curse: As the source of vampires, Dracula is a truly immortal being, capable of defying time itself. Only thing capable of permanently killing him is a branch of Yggdrasil which holds pure power of life.
- Darkhold: An immensely powerful book holding some of the darkest magics in known existence, holding both Vampiric Verses capable of creating vampires and Montesi Formula capable of erasing them. With only a portion of its power, Dracula had warped the laws of nature and sent New York into an Eternal Night.
- Blood Chronovium: A piece of Chronovium infused with Dracula's own blood, amplifying its temporal power. With it, Dracula was able to maintain the Eternal Night and undo Black Panther's connection to Bast, eradicating the Heart-Shaped Herb from his system.
