Background
Entity 18, also alluded to as "The Beast of Level 5" is is an entity resembling a humanoid with a squid-like face wearing a suit residing in Level 5 of the Backrooms, which is an infinite hotel complex with many rooms and halls which appear to have been constructed in the 1930s, with furniture dating back to 1920. Entity 18 attempts to deceive wanderers by persuading them into taking his deals, despite of their fear of him and only makes himself seen to those he wants to be seen by. In the Fandom version of Entity 18 the beast is theorized to have been an ordinary human that noclipped into Level 5, fusing with a Deathmoth in the process. This is evidenced by his ability to produce Moth Jelly. He now uses the god-like powers he has gained over the Level to torment and menace unfortunate wanderers. Entity 18 serves as an avatar for Pein'na, the Pillar of Gluttony.
