"It was far too long since our last meeting, child of man."
~ Eua to Satoko

Background

Eua (エウア) is a mysterious, antagonistic character, and the main culprit behind the events of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gō.

She is a woman whose head is surrounded by an arc that resembles horns not unlike Hanyū's. She consistently refers to Rika as "the cat." Eua grants Satoko the power to live in loops to provide herself with entertainment. She refuses to reveal her name to Satoko and instead invites her to choose a name for her. She chooses part of Satoko's confused stammers to create the name "Eua", but her true name and nature remain currently unknown.

Because of her appearance, it's heavily implied that Eua is an avatar of the Witch Featherine Augustus Aurora.

Can manipulate the fate, plots, possibilities and space-time of Kakera), Void Manipulation, Conceptual Manipulation (Type 3), Quantum Manipulation (Can manipulate the quantum mechanics of the Human Domain[4]), Mind Manipulation, and Soul Manipulation (Can manipulate the voids of the nothingness of Kakera, as well as it's conceptual, mental and spiritual realms. Lives in the Higher World, were the concepts of fate and possibilities are visualized in the form of Kakera, which she can manipulate at will), Law Manipulation (Beings of Higher Worlds can impose rules within their Gameboards, such as Beatrice creating the Truths rule[5], Shapeshifting, Adaptation and Evolution (All of the higher layers exist on the background of the Sea of Nothingness, and the beings of the higher layers may exist directly within this sea, and they adapt to the pressure due to mental and spiritual evolution[6]), Avatar Creation, Self-Sustenance (1, 2, and 3), Non-Physical Interaction, Large Size (Type 11), Immortality (1, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9), Regeneration (High-Godly, Even if the entirety of their existence is completely erased and lost to the Sea of Nothingness beyond all layers and stories, they can regain their form just by thinking[7]), Beyond-Dimensional Existence, Transduality (Type 2, Completely transcendent of all limitations of the Human Domain[8] and all its dualities), True Flight, Nonexistent Physiology (Type 2. Their essence beyond the physical form is a void that only takes shape when they think about it[9]), Nigh-Omniscience, Durability Negation (Can manipulate the plot for a character to get hurt without the need of an attack), Resistance to Mind, Soul, and Void Manipulation (Higher Beings adapt to the atmospheric pressure of higher worlds which can erase one's mind and soul. This allows them to resist it overtime so they won't get erased by said pressure[6])

Attack Potency: Ascendent level (Exists in the Meta-World, a higher realm of existence from which the entire Human Domain is seen as fiction, or like a book where their content is fictional, or as a game board[8]. This including higher dimensions[10], complex quantum structures like MWI[4], hierarchies of stories, dreams, and daydreams[11], and the Underside of the Chessboard, a void of nothingness completely beyond space and time which resides "nowhere" in relation to the entire world of the pieces[12]. The witch domain is completely unreachable, only by evolving or reaching to the level of a witch[8]. She's far stronger than Hanyū Furude)

Speed: Irrelevant (Freed from all of the material world's restrictions, and transcends even realms devoid of space and time entirely such as Gaap's Abyss[8])

Lifting Strength: Irrelevant (Exists in a higher domain where three-dimensional concepts of size and mass are irrelevant, with entire worlds which themselves contain higher-dimensional structures being just fiction contained in small fragments to her, and the human world as a whole nothing but a chessboard)

Durability: Ascendent level, High Ascendent level for her Memory Device

Stamina: Inexhausible

Range: Ascendental

Standard Equipment: Memory Device, Khakkahara

Intelligence: Nigh-Omniscient

Weaknesses: Boredom and the possibility of losing her will. As a result of her age and the height of her existence, her memories and sense of self are very frail, and thus she needs a device in order to record and maintain her personality and attributes, which can cause her own form and character to radically change if damaged.
