Background
Mocha Ray Cookie is an Epic-class cookie and a playable protagonist in Cookie Run: OvenBreak. She and Lobster Cookie were both guardians of the Sacred Pearl in the once-proud city, Sugarteara. During the events of an unknown battle, Lobster Cookie lost his arm while trying to protect the city. Mocha Ray Cookie, seeing his courage, rewards Lobster Cookie with the Crystal Claw that she made herself. As time went on, the residents of Sugarteara started to disappear. Soon, the city became desolate, with the two guardians being the only notable residents of it. Lobster Cookie's possessed Eerie Anglerfish soon started to speak to him, as he departs the ghost town. Mocha Ray Cookie then creates an electric barrier around the town to ward off Lobster Cookie after noticing this.
"The myths of old tell of a celestial who once saw the moon reflected onto the night sky. The serenity captivated the celestial's heart and a single tear dropped into the ocean. As the teardrop descended to the seafloor, it slowly formed into a wondrous pearl. The pearl's radiance soon attracted the attention of many and soon a temple and city were built around it. The Keeper of the Temple, Mocha Ray Cookie, has kept vigil since the very beginning. Despite the soft smile and enchanting mocha aroma, no one has been truly able to peer into the Keeper's thoughts and intentions. The reclusive Mocha Ray Cookie rarely leaves the temple grounds, but whenever doing so, riding atop a Great Stingray is the preferred method of travel. The Keeper's beliefs had never wavered, that is, until the Sacred Pearl began to freeze...What happened in Mocha Ray Cookie's mind at such a sight?"
