Background

, also more commonly known as Zero-Two, is the final boss and main antagonist of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, serving as the true final fight unlocked by getting the true ending of the game by getting all Crystal Shards. Being the leader of the Dark Matter clan who invaded Ripple Star and attempts to conquer other planets nearby as well.

0² is named after and is very similar in appearance to the previous leader of the Dark Matter clan, Zero. however, it seems likely that both Zero and 0² are not the same character, though they have similar battle strategies such as launching attacks from their eyes and that both also have a specific weaknesses (Zero is weak to the Love-Love Stick, 0² is weak to the Crystals).

Attack Potency: Multi-Solar System level, likely Galaxy level (Capable of evenly fighting off with Post-DL3 Kirby who can defeat Dark Nebula whose awakening likely created hundreds of stars and a galaxy and defeat Drawcia who transformed the whole world into a painting and then destroy over multiple stars with her attacks)

Speed: Massively FTL+ (Can keep up with Kirby and Ribbon, the first which who can move in and react to the Warp Star and keep up with enemies comparable in speed to it, with the Warp Star having feats of flying past over to galaxies in seconds. Superior to the Three Dark Matter who were capable of flying over galaxies at these speeds)

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Corruption: One of Dark Matter most used, if not the most used, is it's corruption, which allows Dark Matter and it's leaders to conquer many different planets to their will such as Popstar and Ripple Star. With this, they managed to lure the inhabitants of said planets into evil, while seemingly controlling them as well.
  • Possession: Another commonly used technique by the Dark Matter is their possession, which has been done a handful of times, but mostly seen during the events of Kirby 64, while they also possessed King Dedede off screen during Dreamland 2, with their leaders also being capable of possessing others.
