Background
Gimmy (ギミー, Gimī) and Darry (ダリー, Darī) are protagonists of the anime series, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, introduced as young orphan children from the village of Adai, sent to the surface in order to maintain the population of Adai Village. After then, Gimmy and Darry joined Team Gurren on their adventures on the surface and to overthrow the Spiral King, Lordgenome. Sometime between the 7-year time skip, they had taken a position in the Grapearl squadron and matured into level-headed soldiers. At the epilogue, they are now the pilots of Gurren Lagann, making sure Spiral Nemesis never goes down.
