“If you wish to become a Sword Immortal, you must have the utmost sincerity owards the sword! The sword, and the sword in your heart. If you have the sword in your heart, then even with a rock, a throwing hammer, or a wooden stick, you’ll still be able to execute sword arts.”

“For a Sword Immortal, everything is part of the Dao of the Sword. The Rainwater Dao, the Daos of Wind, Fire, and other Daos… they will all be merged into the Dao of the Sword.”

“The sword is my body. The sword is my life. The sword is my path.”

Background[]

Ji Ning, a teenager who, while being bedridden due to constant illness and predicted to die young, decided that he'd spend his life building an online fortune and use it to help those less fortunate than himself. Upon his death, he arrives at the Netherworld and learns that Earth was but one minor world among trillions of others and a speck in the Three Realms.

Due to his great virtue (and the fact that the Judge and him were from the same hometown), he was given a chance to reincarnate to the Heaven Realm upon his death and be reborn as an immortal. However, a mysterious attack by unknown dark forces on the Six Paths of Reincarnation forced him to reincarnate into a cultivation clan in one of the three thousand major worlds with his memories. Now full of health, he is determined to reach a pinnacle he never could in his old life.

Years later, upon the climax of the civil war that almost decimated the Three Realms, Ji Ning had broken through to the level of an Elder God and slain the foe that had been a cause of so much suffering and bloodshed for his homeland. Unfortunately, he had lost friends, family and his spouse as a result of the conflict. Thankfully, the Three Realms had survived and would be reborn anew as they rebuilt themselves and ensured such a catastrophe would never happen again.

Be it the compulsion of an oath, the need for revenge against the Mindlord, his ambitions of reaching the apex or the small hope he keeps of resurrecting his wife, Ning ventures outside his home and into the desolate primordial chaos, where he would rise to the apex through the path of the sword and the unyielding determination of his heart.

All prior to a higher level.

All prior to a higher level.

All prior to a higher level.

All powers held previously, Spatial Manipulation (Ning has reached the World level in most of the Daos he's trained in and surpassed even his master Subhuti, when the latter was a True God, in the Dao of Space-time.[94] Even other World Gods and Chaos Immortals are capable of maintaining vigil over an entire Chaosworld, as well locking space around it and preventing teleportation to and from[95]), Inorganic Physiology (Type 1. World Gods specifically transform into a being made of crystallized divine energy that takes the form of godgems. The number of which determines level reached in the Dao like the Dao Tree's height[96]), Improved Non-Physical Interaction (Ning's attacks can now destroy people in body, soul and truesoul, the lattermost being a fundamental imprint of a being within the Ocean of Destiny[97]), Power Bestowal (Ning is now capable of transforming another's body entirely, giving them the potential to cultivate and making them as powerful as Xiantian lifeforms before they even cultivate[98]), Fate Manipulation (Ning is capable of halting and altering the flow of destiny of the entire Three Realms as well as using this to resurrect those who've already died in body and soul[99]), Conceptual Manipulation (Type 3) and Dimensional Travel (Via Blood Drop Stance. With this new intent, he is capable of piercing all obstacles in his path, destroying the five elements, space, time and the very Dao itself in the region. Additionally, this allows him to travel across a different spatial dimension that the 3 most beings are accustomed to[100]), Fusionism and Stealth Mastery (Via Shadowless Stance. It allows Ning to merge his sword with all manifestations of the world, even the ripples of space-time, giving it the utter peak of stealth ability and allowing Ning himself to move completely undetectably[101]), Black Hole Creation (Via Soleheart Stance. It allows him to additionally surround his own body in a black hole to absorb and ablate all incoming attacks[102]), Gravity Manipulation (Via Heavenbreaker Stance. With this intent, Ning can create the greatest amount of blunt power possible with his sword arts, altering the very weight of each of his swords to be as heavy as a chaos star to deliver the most dominating strike[103]), Electricity Manipulation and Water Manipulation (Via Novessence Thunder and Water. The former combining nine different chaos or Dao lightnings via alchemical techniques into a single devastatingly powerful form, greater than the sum of its parts[104] while the later does more or less the same), Damage Reduction ( Via Sword Hegemon Armor. A set of armor forged by the Paragon of Pills for her husband and one that was eventually given to Ji Ning for use when the latter became the Hegemon's disciple. It is capable of reducing all attacks against it to a thousandth of their power[105]), Existence Erasure (Via Hegemon Dao Seals. A pair of seals gifted to Ning by the deceased Sword Hegemon of another universe. They can attack with unearthly power that can halt space and time as well as erase opponents from existence in body and soul, regardless of physical state[106])

All prior to a far higher level, Sealing (Ning at this point is capable of sealing off the surroundings of his targets with a mere thought[108]), Improved Dimensional Travel (Ning's Blood Drop Stance has transcended space and showcases the ability to even destroy the Dao aura of the prime essences[109] allowing travel through higher dimensional tunnels to strike at unfathomable distances), Subjective Reality (Ning has reached the sixth stage of Heartforce, World, and has formed his heartworld.[110] The sixth level of Heartforce represents a fundamental change whereby one can truly be called a Heartforce Cultivator. One's heartforce would coalesce into a sea of consciousness whereby reality and illusion can be interchanged[111]). Due to the Omega Sword Dao, his heartworld was already at the size of an entire territory[110] while he was a mere 2nd Step Daolord), Illusion Creation (Heartforce Cultivators are capable of manifesting projections of their heartworlds that trap their victims in illusions and use their deepest memories and thoughts against them. They are powerful enough illusions that they become reality[112]), Pocket Reality Manipulation and Energy Manipulation (Heartforce Cultivators steadily built their heartworlds until they are stable enough to manifest as projections. The amount of power of a heartworld depends on its size and all the energy of the projection is available to them for use[111]), Social Influencing (Heartforce Cultivators have their heartforce seep even into their words, making it so that they sow a seed of trust within all they speak with and compulsing them to be very friendly and cooperative to the former's wishes and goals[113]), Improved Stealth Mastery (Via Vitalis, a technique claimed from Crimsonwave Temple, that was developed by the Sithe race. It effectively creates a cloak over the truesoul's life aura, disguising them completely from other's external senses by masquerading as someone or something else.[114] Ning's Shadowless stance at its peak allows him to merge and turn into every manifestation of the prime essences possible, be it light, darkness, the five elements, space or time[115]), Death Manipulation Via (Heartforce Eradicator, a Heartforce technique trained in by Ji Ning that's inherited from Daolord Featherdress, that creates a wave of heartforce emanating from the user that extinguishes the life of his opponents' souls and truesouls, with little more than a thought.[116] Something that's even repeated later on instantly[117]), Immortality Negation (Type 9) (Via Karmic Scrying, Ning's attacks can reach through karmic connections and slay any clones or avatars of an opponent that exist and vice versa[115]), Fire Manipulation, Water Manipulation, Earth Manipulation, Air Manipulation, Metal Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Causality Manipulation, Fate Manipulation, Space-Time Manipulation, Higher-Dimensional Manipulation and Illusion Creation (After 1,000 chaos cycles of isolated study, Ning had reached the level of the most powerful Eternal Emperors in the Daos of Water, Fire, Lightning, Space and Formations as well as Heartforce and illusions.[118] With a further 3,000 chaos cycles, Ning had mastered the Daos of Time, Earth, Karma and Wind to the same level as the others[119]), Void Manipulation (Ning is capable of manipulating the void to such a degree that he can convert it into an existent copy of his Grand Xia Dynasty, as well as reduce it and everything/everyone within it to nothingness once more[120])

All prior to a far higher level, Illusion Creation, Elemental Manipulation, Light Manipulation, Darkness Manipulation, Spatial Manipulation, Time Manipulation, Higher-Dimensional Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Soul Manipulation, Death Manipulation, Life Manipulation, Age Manipulation, Attack Reflection, Fate Manipulation, Deconstruction etc. (Supreme Daolords are capable of suppressing the might and influence of the prime essences of the universe, upon which almost all other cultivators depend on to utilize their abilities. As such, this should make them virtually invincible to the abilities of those at the master-class World God level and below, as all Daos are but the outermost emanations of the prime essences that make up a particular reality[121])

All prior to an unfathomably higher level, Law Manipulation (Eternal Emperors can set down Laws that even prevent powers and combat from being used[122] on the everworlds they establish), Resistance Negation (Hegemons are capable of overwhelming powerful Daolords in whatever Daos the former train in, regardless of the latter being able to suppress the prime essences and overcome the law edicts of Eternal Emperors[123]), Clairvoyance and Precognition (Ning's mastery of the Eternal Omega Sword Dao allows him to attune to the entire structure of the Chaosverse and its whisperings of fate. With his Dao of Karma, he can see the entire futures of all those below Eternity in cultivation and enlightenment, cultivators and mortals alike.[124][125] A Hegemonic Dao of Numerancy allows Emperor Waveshift to calculate and have premonitions of any momentous occasion that occurs within his Realmverse,[126] to whom Ning is superior in this regard), Improved Elemental Manipulation, Causality Manipulation, Spatial Manipulation and Time Manipulation (After 3,000 chaos cycles of training Ning first reached the Hegemon level in the Dao of Water and then subsequently achieved the same in the Daos of Earth, Fire, Metal, Wood, Lightning, Space, Time and Karma[127][128]), Time Stop (Ning's Sword Dao Domain can suppress space-time and cause it to freeze in its entirety[129]), Improved Subjective Reality and Illusion Creation (Ning's illusions have become so powerful that the beings within them have gained basic sentience, intelligence and emotions. Should he become an Omega Autarch, all his illusions would become reality[130][131]), Improved Light Manipulation and Darkness Manipulation (After 3,900,000 chaos cycles Ning has managed to reach Hegemony in and fuse into his Eternal Omega Sword Daos, his Daos of Formations, Karma, Light and Darkness[132]), Regeneration (High-Godly. Via Void Everlasting, Ning is capable of recovering his truesoul, soul and body from nothing but his 'void will', which exists in absolute nothingness[133]), Immortality (Types 1, 3, 4 and 6. Eternal Emperors are fully eternal and unaging in every sense of the words, no matter which space-time continuum they abide in.[134] Can regenerate from total destruction in body, soul and truesoul. Like before, he can reincarnate into a new life and gradually regain his powers as well as possess others in the event of losing his body)

All prior to a far higher level, Illusion Creation, Elemental Manipulation, Light Manipulation, Darkness Manipulation, Spatial Manipulation, Time Manipulation, Higher-Dimensional Manipulation, Mind Manipulation, Soul Manipulation, Death Manipulation, Life Manipulation, Age Manipulation, Attack Reflection, Fate Manipulation, Deconstruction etc. (Omega Autarchs gain control of all other Eternal Omega Daos upon reaching the level of Daobirth in their specific path, giving them access to all abilities available in creation[136]), Reality Warping (Ning had reached the seventh level in his heartforce, allowing all he imagines to become real and his heartworld becoming comparable to reality in size[137]), Higher-Dimensional Existence, Abstract Existence (Type 1), Large Size (Type 10) and Nigh-Omnipresence (Upon becoming an Omega Autarch, Ning's will had immediately become one with the Quintessence of the Chaosverse, the summation of the prime essences themselves. With him binding the Quintessence, he had risen to become the Lord of Chaos, with his body and mind becoming one with the space and time of his entire Chaosverse and uniting all past, present and future[136][138]), Improved Void Manipulation (Via Oblivion Sword Dao, which is a manifestation of true destruction that annihilates all other energies and Daos, including those of the Five Elements, Yin and Yang, Space and Time, Life and Death and more[139]), Creation (Via Creation Sword Dao, It represents boundless vitality and gives rise to all other Daos and energies, such as Yin, Yang, the Five Elements, Space, Time etc.[139])

All prior to a far higher level.

Attack Potency:

At least Island level+, likely Large Island level (Unfathomably superior to himself when he was a Xiantian Lifeform, at which point he had battle power surpassing other Xiantian Lifeforms by hundreds of if not a thousand times, something that is reaffirmed later on as well.[14][140] This includes the likes of Ji Lee, a powerful Xiantian Lifeform, who can melt an entire mountain with his Ki alone)

At least Large Island level, likely Small Country level for his true body (Has the power of an ordinary Loose Immortal and therefore the power of one ninth the combined strength of 49 Primal Daoists,[141] each of whom are superior to his past self, making him more than 5 and a half times as powerful as he was before. Can create a hurricane that sweeps out for a thousand kilometers with a mere breath[48]), Small Country level, likely Country level with his Primaltwin (In terms of attack power, his Primaltwin is even more powerful than he is, having power on par with a peak Loose Immortal[142])

Solar System level (Upon merging 17 of his 2nd tier Jindan clones into himself to become a 1st tier True Immortal, JI Ning's personal power has reached the level of an elite Daofather,[149] on par with the likes of Daoist Threelives, who can destroy entire major worlds with his single attacks as well as seemingly create pocket dimensions with starry skies over an unknown period of time.[22] Unfathomably superior to regular Empyrean Gods, who can output attacks that can reduce worlds like Earth to dust[150]), higher with Rahu Formation (A superior formation to the Heaven Punisher that allows one to take on the characteristics of the alien Outsider Rahu. Allows one to use the power of 90,000 Celestial Immortals and eight million Loose Immortals to concentrate large amounts of natural energy within himself.[151][152] Ji Ning outright surpasses the elite Daofather level of Holyflame and Threelives while using this)

Multi-solar System level (Upon becoming a True God, Ji Ning's power reached that of an overlord, putting him on par with Suiren, who created the Kindlefire World through sheer power. Even upon his initial transformation his initial transformation into a True God, Ning had the power of a half-step Elder God.[153] Can effortlessly slaughter a True God level bug beast[154][155] which was comparable to his prior cultivation level)

Cosmos level (Even upon his initial breakthrough into this stage, with all his weapons and strongest sword art, Ning crossed the threshold of the power of a World God.[156] After several breakthroughs, mastery of the Nine Chaos Seals and much growth in combat, Ning feels confident in being able to easily destroy chaosworlds,[122] with would require this amount of power), higher with Azureflower Space (an azure flower symbol containg a pocket dimension stored on his forehead, which converted all energies into Azureflower Mist that massively bolsters him in strength, speed and durability[93])

At least Cosmos level (Is unfathomably more powerful than any World God, the latter of whom being capable of creating and destroying chaosworlds with ease through their own power[157] which would require this amount of power. Can slay the vastly more powerful Daolords of the First Step with a mere tree branch[158] imbued with his sword aura)

High Cosmos level (Immeasurably superior to all other Daolords, as well as the more powerful Eternal Emperors, in the history of the Chaosverse and eventually reached the level of Hegemons in power when he became a peak 4th Step Daolord and managed to master the Heartsword Art to a high level.[159] The above includes Verge level Daolords, who are capable of wiping out entire Territories with their power in a fit of madness)

Macroverse level (Even while having his truesoul crumbling, after having mastered the Eternal Omega Sword Dao his power and full force attacks had reached the level of an Autarch[160] and after becoming a true Omega Eternal Emperor, in terms of raw power, Ning stands at the forefront of the Autarchs.[161] Said Autarchs stand at the peak of all cultivators, being able to even create Otherverses with ease,[162] vastly surpassing Hegemons in power and are repeatedly described as truly invincible, with the birth and death of realmverses being nothing more than the growth and withering of a flower to them.[162] Said Realmverses are 7-dimensional space-time continuums)

Macroverse level (Shortly after becoming an Omega Autarch, Ji Ning had become a Lord of Chaos. A Lord of Chaos arises when an Autarch reaches a high enough level of power and insight that he can bind the quintessence of an entire Chaosverse to himself and utilize all its power.[163] Said Chaosverse is an 8-dimensional cosmos)

Speed:

Massively Hypersonic, possibly Massively Hypersonic+ (Is ten to a hundred times slower than his speed with the Windwing Evasion. His speed had risen "several times"[164] compared to his Xiantian Lifeform self, who went from being slightly slower than Ironwood Zhan before his breakthrough to outpacing him even as the latter had a Dao Seal that greatly improved his speed.[14] His Xiantian self in turn is far superior to when he could dodge attacks from Serpentwing, which could not only cause sonic booms but were also, said to be faster than the speed of sound[29][165]), Sub-Relativistic with Windwing Evasion (Is comparable to Wanxiang Adepts in sheer speed while using this)

Sub-Relativistic (Is far faster than early Wanxiang Adepts' cruising speeds, which allows them to cover a thousand kilometers in the span of a short conversation.[166] Can move a thousand kilometers in the blink of an eye, all the while scanning their surroundings for any ambushes mid-flight.[55] Faster than people who can react to his Divine Thunderbolt Eye, which shoots out bolts of lightning)

At least Sub-Relativistic (Far faster than he was before. Managed to move over a million kilometers in the span of a short conversation.[167][168]), Relativistic with [Obscuring Winds of the Nine Heavens] (An evasion technique tailor made for him by Subhuti that allows one to move 90,000 kilometers in a single movement.[169] It allows him to blitz opponents that were previously only on par with him)

Speed of Light with Ninehorn Lightning Serpent Technique, FTL combat, attack and reaction speeds (Faster than before)

Speed of Light with Ninehorn Lightning Serpent Technique, FTL combat, attack and reaction speeds (Faster than before), higher with Thunderlight Wings (A Dao Treasure in the form of a pair of wings, that massively boosts the speed and agility of cultivators that focus on the Dao of the Sword and Lightning[172]) and Azureflower Space (Boosted his physical power to the point of breaking the limits of the Heavenly Daos and moving faster than the speed of light[93])

Massively FTL+, Infinite with Blood Drop Stance (Immensely faster than before)

Lifting Strength: Class M (Far superior to when he was hundreds of times stronger than Ji Lee, who can throw a several ton monster into the distance. His divine sense is immensely superior to when he first evolved his soul to the Divine Will level, at which point he was capable of throwing around boulders and trees with ease using his divine will), higher with Heavenly Transformation (It increases his strength as well as size) | Class T (His divine power and physical body is superior to the Dragonwhale King, whose sheer size alone made him larger than mountains. Superior to Wavecolor, who can manipulate water droplets as heavy as mountains[177]), higher with Heavenly Transformation and Three Heads, Six Arms | Class P (Managed to lift a copper pillar several thousand kilometers long. Comparable to Fiendgods that can crush the former Dragonwhale King with merely their fingers), Class Y with his Primaltwin (His Primaltwin has become a Pure Yang True Immortal, allowing him to lift an area that's 100,000 kilometers across with nothing but his energy) | At least Class Z (Both his main body and Primaltwin vastly surpass the level of a 3rd tier Pure Immortal that he was previously at) | At least Class Z (Stronger than before) | At least Class Z (Unfathomably superior to True Immortals, who can lift an area that's 100,000 kilometers across with nothing but their energy[178]) | Multi-Stellar (Is capable of wielding six swords that are each as heavy as a chaos star,[103] with most such stars absolutely dwarfing major worlds in mass) | At least Multi-Stellar (Far superior to his prior self) | At least Multi-Stellar (Far superior to his prior self) | Immeasurable ( His body and mind becoming one with the space and time of his entire Chaosverse and uniting all past, present and future[136][138])

Durability:

At least Island level+, likely Large Island level (Can take attacks from equal cultivators with his body alone). Regeneration makes him hard to kill

At least Island Class+, likely Large Island Class (His physical body is as resilient as a late Primal Fiendgod and far superior to before), far higher with various techniques (His transformations improve his durability and his Lotusflower Swordland can block attacks from a peak Loose Immortal for a period of time), lower for his Primaltwin (Lacks his Fiendgod body and is thus far weaker physically in comparison)

Small Planet level (Has reached the 6th Cycle of the Eight-Nine Arcane Art, making his body as powerful as a Pure Yang treasure, with said treasures being able to withstand the blows of Heaven Punishers, who're comparable to Empyrean Gods.[179] Is completely and utterly unscathed by an attack of this magnitude, saying that it merely tickled.[180] Has superior defensive ability to Sword Immortal Unity and can withstand the attacks of 18 elite Celestial Immortals joining hands in a formation is equivalent to 100 or so ordinary Celestial Immortal coming together[181]), lower for his Primaltwin

At least Multi-Solar System level (Mastered the Golden Statue, a technique formed from the observation of a golden statue on an Everworld. It then gives one's body the resilience of a top-grade Protocosmic Spirit Treasure,[184] which would make him indestructible to Elder Gods on his level)

Cosmos level (Can withstand attacks from even World Gods without much issue thanks to his Chaos Weapon level body. Is capable of weathering blows from comparable opponents), higher with Azureflower Space

At least Cosmos level (As Ning has mastered the Golden Statue technique, his body is comparable to that of a top grade Dao Weapon and can easily withstand Dao Lightning, which can even harm Daolords[185] who are vastly more durable and powerful than World Gods in might, who're in turn comparable to Ji Ning as an Elder God)

High Cosmos level (Can easily withstand blows from Eternal Emperors and Hegemons, who can effortlessly kill Verge level Daolords)

Macroverse level (Can withstand blows and attacks from other Autarchs, who are comparable to him in power)

Macroverse level (Is one with his entire Chaosverse, an 8-dimensional structure)

Stamina: Superhuman (Can last for far longer than when he was a toddler, at which point he could train for 12 hours straight in swordplay and footwork without rest at the age of 4.[186] Has managed to defeat several thousands of opponents that kept getting stronger and stronger without rest until they were all defeated. Can later fight for days on end so long as he doesn't use his divine power) | Superhuman (Can fight for thousands of years straight if he doesn't rely on his divine abilities[187]) | Superhuman (Vastly superior to his Empyrean God self, who could fight for thousands of years straight if he doesn't rely on his divine abilities.[187] Can meditate and train in sword arts for tens of thousands of years straight) | Superhuman (Superior in endurance to before) | Superhuman (Ji Ning at this point in time can maintain a barrage of full power attacks for 18 million years straight, without rest.[188] Comparable to Eternal Emperors, who have enough endurance to do battle for multiple chaos cycles without resting once.[189] A chaos cycle in turn is approximately 10 trillion years long) | Infinite (On the same level of existence and nature as Autarchs, who can attack endlessly as they are unable to run out of energy[190]) | Infinite (Same as before)

Range: Standard melee range, up to several hundred meters with his most powerful techniques | Thousands of kilometers (His Divine Sense can now go out to a range of a thousand kilometres.[36][191] His breath can create hurricanes that sweep out for a thousand kilometer and even his Waterflame Lotuses can reach a size of 3 kilometers.[192]) | Thousands of kilometers, Planetary with Divine Sense (His Divine Sense alone can scan minor worlds comparable to Earth in size), Interplanetary with Heartforce (His heartforce at the fourth stage can cover the entire Three Realms and its surrounding Void) | Interplanetary (On the level of beings whose descending into a major world causes it to tremble.[193]) | Interplanetary (Can cover the whole Three Realms in his coresense and heartforce. Should be superior to before) | Interstellar (Far superior to Pang Gu, who left over The Void when he used the raw primordial chaos to create his chaosworld[194] which contained several stars of primordial chaos) | Interstellar (Superior to his prior self), Low Macroversal with Blood Drop Stance and Space Dao (With this new intent, he is capable of piercing all obstacles in his path, destroying the five elements, space, time and the very Dao itself in the region as well as travelling across a different spatial dimension that the 3 most beings are accustomed to.[100] Superior to his master Subhuti in the Dao of Space when the latter was a True God) | Cosmic (Unfathomably superior to before. Can use the Dao of Karma to observe and influence everything around him for over a hundred territories,[119] with each territory being so large that an Elder God Ning was sure he wouldn't be able to cross it in a trillion years[195]), Macroversal with Daos (Has reached the level of Archons in his various Daos, which vastly surpasses the level of World Gods, with Daos being the emanations of the prime essences of the Realmverse and the source of, and permeating, all things including space and time, said Realmverse being a 7-dimensional space-time continuum) | Macroversal (As of becoming an Omega Emperor, Ning is capable of casting his godsense over the space-time of an entire Realmverse.[196] Comparable to Autarchs, who can create Otherverses with ease[162]) | Macroversal (Upon becoming an Omega Autarch, Ning's will had immediately become one with the Quintessence of the Chaosverse. With him binding the Quintessence, he had risen to become the Lord of Chaos, with his body and mind becoming one with the space and time of his entire Chaosverse and uniting all past, present and future[136][138])

Standard Equipment:

  • Soulslayer Loop: A powerful protective artefact that can't be interacted with even by Primal Fiendgods and upon activation, pulls away the souls of its victims into itself before dissipating into nothingness along with them.[51]
  • Greater Teleportation Dao Seals: A talisman that allows one to teleport away from danger, space-locked regions and even the entire major world that they're in.[49]
  • Thousandbull Sword: One of Immortal Juhua's greatest magical treasures, a top-tier Immortal grade treasure. It can summon a manifestation of the 10,000 kilometer long Nightriver in the surrounding area that weakens opponents while allowing him to borrow its strengths.[44][204]
  • Primaltwin: A clone formed from his refining of a Sole Ki of Primalwater and splitting his soul before sending it into the pearl. The clone is a pure Ki refiner which means he lacks the Divine Abilities and natural powers of the Fiendgods, such as Regeneration, Size Manipulation, Shapeshifting and Transformation. His physical body is also notably weaker however his raw attack power is significantly superior to even Ji Ning's true body at this stage. They share thoughts and memories, which means this can be considered a second life for Ji Ning in the case of his true body dying.

  • Heavenraker Swords: A famous set of nine Immortal swords during the Primordial Era, made by Daofather Heavenrake to execute the Heavenraker technique.[205]
  • Tripartite Immortal-Locking Circlet: A high grade Immortal treasure taking the form of a golden circlet. It traps and restrains foes before pulling them into a standalone pocket dimension that even True Immortals and Empyrean Gods of the Three Realms can't escape if caught[205]
  • Rahu Godbow: One of the top ten divine bows of the Primordial Era before the Three Realms formed. A high-grade Protocosmic treasure forged from the remains of Rahu, an alien monster that came from the primordial chaos.[206]
  • Yin-Yang Duality Thousand Swords: A formation that comes in the form of 500 Sole-Ki Frost Swords and their corresponding Qiangang Inferno swords, that converge fire and water to annihilate all things.[207]
  • Ananda World Swords: A set of nine top grade Pure Yang treasures forged by Buddha Ananda of the Buddhist Sangha. They are described as being able to cut through the miseries of the world and being incomparably sharp, with their treasures spirits taking the form of bloodthirsty monks.[208]
  • Heaven Punisher Formation: A formation handed down to Ji Ning and the nine other Celestial Immortal generals, made by the War God Xiangli. At minimum it combines the power of 1,000 Celestial immortals and 100,000 Loose Immortals into a headless giant capable of matching Empyrean Gods, with the perfected variant using 9,000 Celestial Immortals and gathering enough natural power to enter the threshold of a Daofather's power.[70][146][147][148]
  • Nineleaf Snowlotus: A Protocosmic Spirit Treasure that takes the form of a white lotus and can release countless snow lotus petals to form a barrier. This treasure is suitable for binding up to Empyrean Gods and 3rd tier True Immortals.[209]

  • Violetjewel: The Dao Weapon of World God Northrest and a top tier artefact even for World level beings. Even when heavily damaged, it can create planet-sized spatial tears with a gentle swing.[213]
  • Triult Swords: A set of Chaos treasures that take the form of three swords, gained from Swordfather Triult. They possess the ability to join into a formation that has the power to rival the damaged Violetjewel.[214]

  • Thunderlight Wings: A Dao Treasure in the form of a pair of wings, that massively boosts the speed and agility of cultivators that focus on the Dao of the Sword and Lightning[172]
  • Primalwater Armor: Another Dao Treasure in the form of a suit of armor, that reflects all attacks that land on it back to their sender.[92]

  • Sword Hegemon Armor: A set of armor forged by the Paragon of Pills for her husband and one that was eventually given to Ji Ning for use when the latter became the Hegemon's disciple. It is capable of reducing all attacks against it to a thousandth of their power.[105]
  • Hegemon Dao Seals: A pair of seals gifted to Ning by the deceased Sword Hegemon of another universe. They can attack with unearthly power that can halt space and time as well as erase opponents from existence in body and soul, regardless of physical state.[106]

  • Flying Vessel: A flying vessel procured from an auction within one of the Sacred Cities of the Dao Alliance. It allows for movement of up to 100 times the speed of light.[216]

  • Northbow Swords: A set of six sentient lifeblood weapons that Ning had had forged for him when he was naught but a World God and would accompany him for the rest of eternity, viewing them almost as his children. Upon imbuing them with his Eternal Omega Sword Dao, Ning's weapons had reached the level of Universe Treasures and surpassed them, becoming the deadliest weapons in all the Chaosverse.[217]

  • Intelligence: Genius (Was one of the most consummate swordsmen of the entire Black White College, which gathers the geniuses of the entire Stillwater Commandery. Managed to learn several volumes of techniques from said college overnight. By the age of two, he managed to read and memorize several large books and familiarize himself with the geography and general layout of the entire Grand Xia Dynasty.[6] He has since gotten significantly more intelligent and wise as higher comprehension is needed the more one progresses in cultivation. Could grasp upon the the Dao, the governing principle of the world that existed since the creation of the endless universe[29] and progress to the point of manifesting multiple Dao Domains and later even mastering Daos with slight contemplation. Was vastly superior to members his own age on Earth,[218] amassing a massive fortune from managing a business on the internet. Managed to master the fundamental essence of swordplay across all of reality)

Weaknesses: His body will be unable to regenerate should it run out of divine power | None notable

    Feats:

  • As he trained in the Five Elements Sword Art, all insights into the other Daos were forgotten and replaced with insight into swordforce, a higher level beyond the Grand Dao of the Sword.[239]
  • Has spent 100 years in constant fighting, training his sword arts against an unending army of Empyrean God level demons.[171]
  • Spent the better part of several decades training against others in his sword arts despite suppressing his strength and speed to less than a sliver of their own and still beating them via pure skill.[240]
  • Has reached the 4th stage of swordforce, Sword Heart, giving his sword light sentience and life as well as vastly improving his combat ability.[241][242]
  • Upon embarking on the Path of Blades, he fought 10 copies of himself of equal power with increasingly complex sword styles in a contest of skill. Not only was he able to vastly improve in technique with each consecutive battle but he could also learn the 9th's Sword Art after just three observations.[243][244]
  • The 10th guardian he faced forced him to fight for several days, wherein his sword skills constantly grew and were refined. This got to a point that he suddenly completely mastered the highest level sword art in the Three Realms.[245]
  • Upon being taken from Undermoon Lake onto a stairway of the sword Dao, his skill continuously broke through time and time again as he climbed over the course of some years.[246]
  • In the 600 years he spent within the stairway, he reached the fourth stage of infiniforce and merged his Swordforce with it.[88]
  • After several years of further training, Ji Ning had reached the fifth level of swordforce, that is, the Sword God level.[247]

  • Nothing notable, as this was a fairly brief cultivation period.

  • Upon breaking through to become a World God, Ning managed to reach the sixth stage of swordforce, Sword World, becoming a World God of the Sword.[251]
  • A Dao Tree is formed in the Jindan of a Chaos Immortal whenever they break through to the stage. The height determines one's aptitude, skill and level of enlightenment in their chosen Dao, with the base being 3,000 meters. Ning himself immediately broke through to 63,000 meters, making him several times more skilled than before.[251]
  • After a thousand years of further training, Ning reached the level of fully mastery as a World God. Since all Daos are just the outermost layers of the prime essences of primordial chaos, Ning reaching this stage means that he has gotten to the utter apex of sword skill and aptitude that can be learned from the Chaosverse and has nothing more to learn from others. From this point onwards, all his growth would be unique to his own path that he creates.[121]
  • Upon sparring against the fourth and final painting of Emperor Mirrorsnow, Ji Ning's expertise had risen dramatically, to the point of being able to become a Daolord whenever he wishes. Despite this, he chooses to wait for a path unique to him and immediately after gaining the legacy, has his skill and enlightenment of the sword grow endlessly for 2 weeks straight.[176]
  • Afterwards, he receives Mirrorsnow's memories and proceeds to meditate on and constantly improve in sword arts for 800 years in the real world.[252] As he uses a temporal treasure, his growth is actually continuous for close to 80,000 years.
  • During the trial in the Daolord Cloudworld, Ji Ning continues to grow despite facing increasingly powerful opponents without rest. Even with his sword arts having no deficiency in any aspect, he continues to refine them and correct his flaws in real time.[253]

  • Upon breaking through to the 1st Step of the realm, his Omega Sword Dao was comparable in profundity to those of the 4th Step. Unlike the others, his Dao was flawless at its level and would be at the peak of each Step as he progressed. Upon reaching the 4th Step, his Omega Sword Dao matched the Daos of Archons, Eternal Emperors that have been training for tens of quintillions of years in their specific paths.
  • Eventually grows to surpass Daolord Featherdress, who was capable of ensnaring even Eternal Emperors in her illusions.[108] Even before properly studying his illusions and charm arts, Ning was capable of capturing the mind of Nightwell, one of the most powerful of Eternal Emperors.[254]
  • Archons are Eternal Emperors that were only second to Hegemons in their attainment of the Dao, and have been training and developing their insights for countless chaos cycles i.e. several quintillion years. Upon breaking through into the 4th Step of the Omega Sword Dao, the difference between Ning and Archon Silksnow was greater than the difference between Silksnow and Ning prior to that breakthrough,[255] where Silksnow could effortlessly dominate Ning in combat skill as well as other Daolords on his level by having countless times the experience and enlightenment.
  • As Ning walks the path of the Omega Sword Dao, each stage he breaks through to as a Daolord represented the utter apex of the Sword Dao, with him having nothing to improve upon reaching the peak of this stage.[255] Even when he initially developed his Dao, Ning achieved such a resonance with the prime essence of the sword of the Flamedragon Realmverse that he became its master of the Sword Dao.
  • Upon passing the trials of Autarch Awakener, Ji Ning spent 59 billion years studying, memorizing, dissecting and merging the sum total of all illusory arts that the Autarch was able to gather across the entirety of the Desolate Chaosverse,[256] turning them into illusions that were to be of best use to him and basically rebuilding his entire foundation in illusory arts. After spending half a chaos cycle creating a supreme illusory technique, Ji Ning had reached the Archon level in terms of insights into Heartforce and illusory arts,[256] finally surpassing the previous most powerful Heartforce Daolord in her own field.

  • Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Divine Thunderbolt Eye: A divine ability in which one manifests an eye on their forehead from which shoots a bolt of lightning.[39]
  • Sword Grand Dao Domain: Upon being put under pressure of death, Ji Ning saw through his own heart and reached the Dao Domain level in the Grand Dao of the Sword. His sword intent can shatter souls just by manifesting and can be summoned to any point in his range with a mere thought and in addition can cover an entire area in sword ki blasts.[177][263]
  • Lotusflower Swordland: The ultimate defensive technique developed by Ning by his current realm. It manifests as a massive lotus composed of elemental ki and sword light that acts as its own world and combines the Daos of Rainwater, the Inferno, Space and the Sword into itself, blocking even the attacks of a peak Loose Immortal.[264]
  • Soldiers of the Mind: A divine will technique that allows one to create invisible weapons via their divine will to attack and destroy the soul.[39]
  • Three Foot Sword - Horizontal Sword Execution: The seventh stance of the Three Foot Sword, in which sword light manifests as silk like strands of incomparable sharpness, capable of cutting through the likes of Adept Ninedeaths' body when previously his sword couldn't even give her more than light cuts on her skin.[7][265]
  • Torch Dragon's Eye: A divine technique belonging to a True God of Primordial Chaos, the Torch Dragon. It absorbs light from the sun into itself to cultivate an innate "torch light" that can be emitted as a beam for attack or allow one to see immensely far.[266]

  • Eight-Nine Arcane Art: The number one divine ability in the Three Realms below the True God level, especially made famous by Sun Wukong. The technique allows one to transform into any object or person in the world and additionally refines one's body to be nigh-unbreakable. Even the aura of the soul is changed and people with scrying techniques are unable to tell the difference.[267][268] It makes him indestructible to almost everything Celestial Immortals can throw at him at this stage.
  • Greater Thousand Sword Formation: An upgraded sword formation designed by his teacher Subhuti in another world over the course of thousands of years. It distills the essence of Daoism and Buddhism into itself, being one of the best techniques in the Three Realms.[169]
  • Obscuring Winds of the Nine Heavens: A movement technique also made by Subhuti painstakingly analyzing his disciple's comprehension, talent and habits. It allows the user to move over 90,000 kilometers in a single movement.[169]
  • Waters of Heaven: A powerful technique obtained from the ninth level of Subhuti's Divinity Palace. It converts illusory waters into reality and uses it to create barriers against attacks.[269]
  • Three Foot Sword - Sword Roaming the Three Realms: The final stance of the original Three Foot Sword, signifying the peak of Immortal Northwalker's Sword Dao. It manifests black dragons made of Sword ki that cause space itself to explode around it. From this point onwards, even his casual sword light can turn someone to dust and destroy their soul.[270][271]
  • Three Foot Sword - Relentless Advance: The tenth stance of the Three Foot Sword, developed by Ji Ning, formed off the will of a warrior to relentlessly advance in the face of adversity. It forms six black divine swords that are capable of blowing through a Celestial Immortal Formation that can withstand the power of 30-50 Celestial Immortals attacking at once.[145]
  • Three Foot Sword - Dragons Warring in the Wild: The eleventh stance of the Three Foot Sword, developed by Ji Ning, that encompasses all his prior experiences in the Nihilum Zone and war over the Grand Xia. It takes the form of multiple blood dragons that attack in tandem.[272]
  • Three Foot Sword - Cleaving Heaven and Earth: The twelfth and final stance of the Three Foot Sword, which encompasses the entire Dao of the Sword of the Three Realms chaosworld. It imitates the heaven splitting will of Pangu and takes the form of a simple overhead cleave encompassing the mastery of the sword.[273]

  • Sword-Heaven-Earth: A sword art that's divided into seven stances, left behind to Ji Ning by World God Northrest, that primarily utilises swordforce. Ji Ning showcases the following;
  • Golden Statue: A technique formed from the observation of a golden statue on an Everworld. It then gives one's body the resilience of a top-grade Protocosmic Spirit Treasure.[184]

  • Nameless Sword Art: An unnamed sword art found by World God Northrest as he adventured through primordial chaos, that was passed onto Ning. It has a total of 15 stances.
  • Azureflower Space: Upon mastering all nine Chaos Seals, Ning had an azure flower symbol containg a pocket dimension stored on his forehead, which converted all energies into Azureflower Mist that massively bolsters him.[93]
  • Sword Quintessence: A sword art developed by Ji Ning upon his observations of the quintessence of the fully repaired Violetjewel, an Eternal Weapon. It currently has a single stance;
  • Novessence Thunder: A technique developed by Daolord Allgod that was gifted to Ji Ning. It involves combining nine different chaos or Dao lightnings via alchemical techniques into a single devastatingly powerful form, greater than the sum of its parts.[104] When trained to the first level of nine fused chaos lightnings, it possesses the power to easily slaying master-class World Gods.[172] Ning is at the level of combining four Dao lightnings at this stage.
  • Novessence Water: Another technique developed by Daolord Allgod that Ning acquired. Like the Novessence Thunder, it involves combining nine different chaos or Dao waters via alchemical techniques into a single devastatingly powerful form, greater than the sum of its parts.[279] Ning is at the level of combining four Dao waters at this stage.
  • Thunderdragon Footwork: A footwork technique left behind by a powerful Daolord and one of the legacies of the Atral Islands. Each level is accompanied by a massive improvement in speed and agility and the fourth level allows one to be as fast as Dao Lightning.[280]
  • Unicorn Domain: A technique that represented Ning's most profound understanding of the sword at the time of its conception, that allowed him to create a domain that deflected all attacks that went into it away from himself.[112]
  • Omega Sword Dao - Brightmoon Sword Intent: The culmination of all of Ji Ning's insights and training of the Sword Dao, manifesting as a five part cycle of a sword Dao belonging only to him. Originally developed when he was an Empyrean God, the stances reach full completion in this stage and become Supreme Daos. These Daos combine into the utter apex possible for the sword, by which point Ning is the absolute master of the Dao of the Sword across all the primordial chaos. The following are its stances;
  • Vitalis: A technique claimed from Crimsonwave Temple, that was developed by the Sithe race. It effectively creates a cloak over the truesoul's life aura, disguising them completely from other's external senses by masquerading as someone or something else.[114]
  • Daoheart: Another technique left over by the Sithe Race, that creates incredible debilitating pain in oneself so as to temper one's Daoheart and resistance to pain.[281] This has no use in combat.
  • Heartforce Eradicator: A Heartforce technique trained in by Ji Ning that's inherited from Daolord Featherdress, a woman who was the most powerful Daolord in the history of the Endless Territories. It creates a wave of heartforce emanating from the user that slays opponents' souls and truesouls, with little more than a thought.[116] Something that's even repeated later on instantly.[117]
  • Dreamstar Art: A Heartforce technique developed by Ji Ning that was adapted from Featherdress's legacy. It traps opponents in a series of illusions and can affect even Supreme Daolords.[282]
  • Soulthrall: A Heartforce technique derived from the Soulthrall Song of Featherdress. Ning creates a wave of heartforce that instantly captures Daolords within its grasp and allows Ning to control or wipe out their souls.[283]
  • Heartsword Sword Art: The true name of the Nameless Sword Art that Ji Ning had acquired back when he was an Empyrean God. Upon reaching the level of a Daolord, he was gifted the remaining 8 of the fifteen stances developed by Emperor Heartsword. They allow him to fuse, divine energy, ki and heartforce and rather than be specific moves, they're intents that fuse into every sword move one would make. They are as follows;
  • Grand Diffraction Sword: A Hegemonic Art taught to Ning by the deceased sword Hegemon of an alternate universe, of a Yang attribute. It manifests as a sea of sword light that can be summoned outside one's body to deal a devastating attack across a wide area.[289] It's depth corresponds to its power. It can be combined with the Lumisword Godwings.
  • Lumisword Godwings: Another Hegemonic Art derived from the same teacher, that are of the Yin attribute. It instead the form of a pair of wings made of sword light manifesting within one's Jindan that can be summoned outside to deal a concentrated beam of power to destroy opponents.[290] It can be combined with the Grand Diffraction Sword.
  • Unfettered Dreamlands: A supreme Heartforce technique that Ning had developed over the course of 6 trillion years or half a chaos cylce, representing Ning's insights into illusions reaching the level of the most powerful Eternal Emperors. It entraps opponents into an artificial world of dreams that's sequestered within his heartworld, that targets their victims deepest desires.[256]

  • Void Everlasting: A technique developed by Ning to restore his decaying truesoul and eventually change the destiny of all cultivator civilizations. It involves creating a void will that would persist even after the destruction of one's truesoul, soul and body after they've been utterly destroyed and rebuilding them in the emptiness of space.[291]
  • Cycle Sword Dao: A manifestation of Ning's Eternal Omega Sword Dao after he had merged the Daos of Light and Darkness into it. It combines blazing light and corrosive darkness into a single gray sword energy that destroys all that it touches, including even the bodies of Autarch level creatures.[292]

  • Oblivion Sword Dao: An evolution of Ning's Eternal Omega Sword Dao that allowed him to take the first step to Omega Autarchy. It is a manifestation of true destruction that annihilates all other energies and Daos, including those of the Five Elements, Yin and Yang, Space and Time, Life and Death and more[139]
  • Creation Sword Dao: Another facet of Ning's evolved Omega Sword Dao that propelled him to full Omega Autarchy. It represents boundless vitality and gives rise to all other Daos and energies, such as Yin, Yang, the Five Elements, Space, Time etc..[139]
