Background
Kenji Kusanagi is the main character of Koutetsushin Jeeg. He's a high school student who, after the sudden reapperance of Queen Himika and her Haniwa Phantoms, he's entrusted with a new version of the magnetic robot Steel Jeeg to protect humanity from the Jamatai Kingdom.
