Background
Kris Dreemurr is the main protagonist of Deltarune and, presumably, the human Hero of Light. They are controlled by the player for the majority of Chapter 1, with the exception of the ending cutscenes and brief moments in other cutscenes.
In the recent chapter it is hinted that Kris may be the Knight that the King and Queen keep talking about the whole game, as they craves their knife into the ground and presumably creates a Dark World

Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- SAVE and LOAD: Kris unique ability, whenever Kris feels a rush of a certain power flow through them, they can create a SAVE POINT, with it they can heal all their wounds, and they can SAVE, creating a SAVE FILE representing their control over the timeline and they then can LOAD back to the spot they SAVED, controlling time itself. Kris can use this ability in various ways, from using it to bring themself back in case they are defeated, to LOADING back in case they missed something they no longer can access, or to simply make them immortal against their foes.
- Dark Fountains: Although Kris doesn't use their determination to SAVE, they can use it in different ways. If Kris feels determined enough they can focus all their will into their knife, plunging it into the ground and creating a Dark Fountain, which transform the current room into a Dark World, making unreality into reality.
- FIGHT: Kris chooses to attack someone with one of their weapons, doing this causes a bar to show up where the human has to hit on the box located on the leftmost area of the meter to deal maximum damage. This is Kris' primary method of attacking, being able to hit enemies even if they are far away with their sword.
- Soul Manipulation: Yellow Mode: Kris red SOUL can turn yellow and inverted. This gives them the ability to shoot energy projectiles from their soul, giving them a new way of attacking their opponents. The SOUL first showed this against Spamton NEO in order for them to fight him on a equal footing.
- ACT: This is an ability that lets Kris solve conflicts in a non violent way through various methods, being different depending on who they are trying to convince to not fight. There are several different ACTS that Kris can use, as well as being able to make new ones to however they are facing, but the most notable are:
- Check: Kris is able to "check" how strong their opponent are in stats, as well as basic information about them and how they fight.
- Courage: Requires 25% TP to be peformed. Kris encourages the party, raising all of their DEFENSE for one turn.
- Pirouette: Requires 20% TP to be peformed. Kris peforms a pirouette gesture that tires the enemy and causes a random CHAOS, such as shuffling everyone's HP, increasing everyone's defense, increasing the opponent's attack, etc.
- X-Slash: Requires 25% TP to be peformed. Kris peforms two slashes with their sword, leaviing out afterimages, forming two cuts on their enemy that together makes up an X. This ACT deals physical damage two times.
- FriedPipis: Requires 32% TP to be peformed. Kris eats a fried pipis, healing 120 HP
- ITEM: Kris can use several different items to heal and amp themself, more details of what are all of their items and what they can do can be seen above in standard equipment
- SPARE: By using this, Kris can show to their opponent they don't want to fight, as well as being able to stop a fight if their opponent doesn't want to fight, becoming the winner, they are able to know when a opponent wants to stop fighting if their name is yellow. Since Chapter 2 Kris can see how close their opponent are of being spared via the Mercy bar, telling them their mercy percentage. They can RECRUIT enemies if they spare enough of them.
- DEFEND: Kris can defend themself during the enemies turn with their shield, making attacks do less damage and gaining TP from it.
- Thrash: A giant mech created with the help of Kris' recruited enemies, Rouxl's Thrash Machine, Berdly, and more, it is a powerful giant mech created to rival Giga Queen, it's powers include:
- [Head]Mode: 50 TP (Name and effect depend on the head chosen for the Thrash Machine in Chapter 1)
- LaserMode (Laser head): "Fast Attacks" (Increases damage and allows for faster punches for a turn afterwards)
- SwordMode (Sword head): "Power up each hit"
- FireMode (Flame head): "Power Attacks" (Increases damage from attacks afterwards, with about 420 initial damage.)
- DuckMode (Duck head): "Sucky Attacks" (Gives duck orbitals that increase damage for a turn afterwards. Duck Aura also heals 35 HP upon initial hit but does not deal as much damage (about 150 in the end).)
- SELF-FIX: 20 TP (Heals 100 HP in exchange for adding 10 tp to the cost of SELF-FIX every time it is used, up to 50 TP)
