We're all heroes, I owe you a big one too. So let's pay these debts properly. A man's at his strongest when he's got a debt to settle.

A man is at his most powerful when he has somebody to protect!

Background

Bad, better known by his hero alias Metal Bat, is the S-Class Rank 15 professional hero of the Hero Association.

Powers and Stats

Tier: High 7-C, up to High 6-A via Fighting Spirit

Dimensionality: 3-D

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Weapon Mastery, Reactive Evolution (His Fighting Spirit allows him to be able to take anything and gain new resistances), Regeneration (Low), Enhanced Senses and Information Analysis (Metal Bat was born with amazing dynamic vision[1]), Rage Power, Reactive Power Level, Statistics Amplification, Supernatural Willpower (The more he gets hurt and damaged the stronger and faster he gets for getting more pumped. His Fighting Spirit is considered extremely similar to Garou's ability) Resistance to Sleep Manipulation

Attack Potency: Large Town level (Although inferior he could still keep up with Garou with the latter stating one swing would likely hurt), up to Multi-Continent level (Was able to repel the strongest attack of Sage Centipede and keep up with Monster Garou)

Speed: Massively Hypersonic (Kept up with Garou), up to FTL via Fighting Spirit (Kept up and could synchronize to make combo attacks with Monster Garou)

Lifting Strength: Class G (Comparable to Garou) up to Class T

Durability: Large Town level (Took multiple hits from Garou), up to Multi-Continent level via Fighting Spirit

Stamina: Extremely High (Could still fight even with numerous bruises on his body and several broken bones)

Range: Standard melee, Extended melee with Metal Bat

Standard Equipment:

Metal Bat: Metal Bat's signature weapon. It is a gray metal bat with a black handle. It is, with Metal Bat's strength, strong enough to kill Demon-level monsters with one hit. It was crafted personally for him when he joined the ranks of the S-Class and requested a bat that wouldn't break. It is extremely durable, enough to withstand attacks from Sage Centipede, a Mysterious Being of even greater strength than Elder Centipede.

Intelligence: Above Average

Weaknesses: If he doesn't have anything to keep himself pumped, his ability will eventually wear off extremely quickly and cause him to exhaust near instantly, causing him to faint

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

Fighting Spirit (気合い, Kiai): Metal Bat is capable of getting stronger through his damage intake and anger buildup. This is because of his will to continue to fight regardless of what happens. Instead of succumbing to the damage he receives, Metal Bat gets an increase in his physical attributes. This ability is mainly shown during his fight with Garou wherein he gets tougher, faster, and a lot more durable as the conflict drags on. However, his Fighting Spirit lowers extremely fast when he is out of battle and exhaustion can quickly set in. Even while in battle, it is still possible for Metal Bat's Fighting Spirit to reach a limit, as he was unable to continue fighting after having been pummeled by Sage Centipede.

Killin' Moves (必殺, Hissatsu; Viz: Killer Move): Among his array of moves, he also has ones made and used to finish off his opponents.

  • Dragon Thrashing (怒羅厳シバき, Do Ra Gon Shibaki; Viz: Dragon Pummelin'): Metal Bat unleashes a barrage of smacks with his bat at the same spot at multiple angles. This attack was first seen used against Elder Centipede. The attack was powerful enough to cause Elder Centipede to shout in pain.
  • Savage Tornado (野蛮トルネード, Yaban Torunēdo; Viz: Brutal Tornado): Metal Bat wildly spins with his trademark weapon strong enough to create a small tornado. The attack is powerful enough to cause slight damage to Garou even when the latter was repelling the strikes. In their battle, Garou commented that had the bat managed to hit him even a single time, it would have been the end for him.
  • Spiral of Overwhelming Victory (仏恥義理スパイラル, Bucchigiri Supairaru; Viz: Overkill Spiral): Metal Bat spins himself vertically with enough speed and strength to create a spiral. This attack was powerful enough to sever Sage Centipede's antennas.
  • Savage Hurricane (野蛮ハリケーン, Yaban Harikēn; Viz: Brutal Hurricane): A more powerful version of Savage Tornado. Metal Bat first employs this technique against Sage Centipede. When used in tandem with Garou's Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fist, he could counter the centipede creature's 6666 Leg Grand Drill, a powerful attack that resembles a drill, and even break its durable exoskeleton.
