Background
Shūkurō Tsukishima (月島 秀九郎, Tsukishima Shuukurou) is a Fullbringer and a former member of Xcution. Tsukishima is a direct associate of Ginjō since he was a child, and after the events that led to Ichigo losing his powers, the duo planned a scheme to be able to steal his powers and make them their own, so he used his Fullbring to manipulate the memories of everyone around Ichigo to drive him into their trap.

When used with inorganic objects, he can insert himself into the past of that object to manipulate its size, structure and layout, allowing him to do things like create barriers to block attacks instantaneously in the present. In addition, Tsukishima can also insert himself into his enemy’s past to make it so he trained alongside them and thus gain all training they had undergone, which allows him to fully learn all their weaknesses and powers by understanding their entire past. Other uses include being able to glean the "thickness" of someone's past through eyesight alone as long as he holds Book of the End and negate abilities that affect the present by inserting himself into their past to make it so that effect didn’t happen in the first place which allowed him to overwrite Yhwach’s Almighty), Pain Tolerance (After losing his arm, he only showed moderate pain while staying calm. Notable Attacks/Techniques:
- Fullbring: All objects in the Bleach universe have souls. The Fullbringers are children whose mothers were attacked by Hollows before they were born. The remnants of the Hollow's powers stayed on their mothers and were passed to the, thus making the powers they possess more similar to Hollows. It enables them to manipulate the souls in matter to assist them to perform supernatural actions such as using the ground to push themselves higher, using the souls in air to fly/walk. They can use this to strengthen their attacks, increase their speed, or for simple things like using the soul in a beverage to pull towards their mouth. Fullbringers that have a high affinity with a certain object can manifest and change the form of that object, that is their Fullbring.
- Book of the End: Tsukishima's Fullbring manifests itself in his bookmark, which he can transform into a katana that has a bookmark-shaped tsuba. Ginjō remarks that Book of the End is a sword with high attack capability that can literally cut through anything. Book of the End is capable of two types of cut: one which can injure or kill an opponent and one which can insert Tsukishima into the target's past. In addition, he is capable of doing both simultaneously.
- Insert Presence: Book of the End has the ability to split the past of whomever it cuts. This ability works not by manipulating time and memories, but by literally inserting Tsukishima's presence into the victim's history. Victims of this power recognize Tsukishima as someone closely connected to their personal lives, whether it is as family, friend, or lover. He can even usurp the roles of other individuals in the victims’ histories. Likewise, Tsukishima gains comprehensive knowledge of his victims’ memories. This power takes hold regardless of whether the victim trusted Tsukishima before being cut. Tsukishima can continue to modify his victims’ histories even after cutting them; however, if they realize that their altered pasts are inconsistent with reality, they are put at risk of mental breakdown. By cutting an affected individual again, Book of the End's effect on that person is dispelled. Book of the End's power also works on inanimate objects. For example, by cutting the ground, he can modify its history to alter its structure and set traps there as though he had done so long ago. By cutting a person's weapon, he can gain complete knowledge of its techniques, including their weaknesses. As with all Fullbrings, if Tsukishima dies, all traces of his ability vanish, returning his victims to normal.
- Bringer Light: The Fullbringer's equivalent of Shunpo, however, this is achieved by manipulating the soul inside everything else to enhance their movements.
