Background
Shinpei Ajiro (網代慎平, lit. Ajiro Shinpei) is an eighteen-year-old boy who is the main character of the series. He returned from Tokyo to his hometown, Hitogashima, for the first time in two years to attend the funeral of his childhood friend Ushio Kofune. In the past, Shinpei lost his parents in an accident as a child and was received by the Kofune family. He is good at cooking and attends a cooking school.
