Lost... everything...
~ Squid Ink Cookie

Aw, no... Have you heard?! A giant squid has appeared! We must hurry and defeat the monster!
~ Mango Cookie describing Squid Ink Cookie

Where... here? Who...? Why...? Poor Squid Ink Cookie, your only clue is a literal pirate ship hat! Squid Ink Cookie is wandering the seas to find the owner of this pirate ship. But poor thing, you've already been aboard the owner's ship...
~ Pirate "Hunter"'s description

Background

Squid Ink Cookie is an Epic-class Cookie and an important character in Cookie Run: OvenBreak and Cookie Run: Kingdom. Squid Ink Cookie is actually an avatar of the Giant Squid of the Deep Sea, a massive sea monster that generated storms and actively wiped out pirate ships to steal their treasures. However, when the Squid was finished rampaging, they would revert to their smaller form and usually spend the rest of the day sitting inside of a pot. Squid Ink Cookie was given constant cases of amnesia due to transforming often, not remembering anything after their attacks.

During the events of the Gingerbrave's Tale (2), Squid Ink Cookie attacked Pirate Cookie's ship while Gingerbrave and his friends were on it to plunder their gold. They ended up separating the team after a vicious strike, and was presumably defeated and driven off while Gingerbrave and his friends were underwater. During the events of Tropical Soda Islands and Soda Island Outlaws, the Giant Squid of the Deep Sea attacked the Stink-Eyed Tortuca's ship upon noticing that he had gold on the ship, inadvertently saving Princess Cookie, Lilac Cookie, Knight Cookie, the Coconutians and the Watermelonians. Once the ship was destroyed after the Squid's rampage, the skies cleared and the Giant Squid of the Deep Sea disappeared.

"Squid Ink Cookie came out of the oven not even a little bit crispy. Maybe that's because of all the viscous ink inside! The Cookie was found floating along the seashore, all weak and confused. There is a theory that this Cookie is the legendary treasure-eating sea monster that attacked treasure ships, hungry for more gold. But Squid Ink Cookie can't remember any of that and spends all the time oozing blackish inky tears."
