Background
Tomura Shigaraki (死し柄がら木き弔とむら Shigaraki Tomura), real name Tenko Shimura (志し村むら転てん弧こ Shimura Tenko), is the main antagonist of the anime and manga series My Hero Academia.
He is the grandson of the seventh user of One For All, Nana Shimura, the adopted son and successor of All For One, as well as the arch-nemesis of Izuku Midoriya.
He is often the main villain of the series, first serving as the new leader of the League of Villains following All For One's arrest and imprisonment. Later serving as the founder of the Paranormal Liberation Front following his victory over Re-Destro, as well as the inheritor of the original "All For One" Quirk.
Having committed innumerable crimes against humanity itself. He came to be known as the newly branded "Symbol of Fear", a threat to the entire world, as well as the greatest villain to ever exist in history.
His ultimate goal being to destroy the entire world, including everything connected to his childhood home. Where he grew up under the abuse of his "hero-hating" father.

- Disembodied Hands (Formerly): Given to him by All For One and Dr. Garaki, the disembodied hands of his deceased family were the most distinctive element of his "villain costume". These hands had the function of keeping his mind as stable as possible, as they made him feel calm and at peace, although they also caused him nausea by reminding his body of the way he had killed his own family. During the "Meta Liberation Army Arc", once he remembered this traumatic event from his childhood, he destroyed each and every one of them to free himself from any "restrictions" they may have placed on his subconscious. However, he kept one of them intact, and it began to serve as his own "trademark" mask.
Intelligence: Above Average (Tomura Shigaraki was All For One's primary choice as his successor, so he personally trained him from a very young age. He has also been shown to be, despite his occasional impulsive and aggressive behavior, an incredibly intelligent and calculating individual. Being able to deduce the weakness of Eraser Head's Quirk and use it to attack him, as well as manipulate Stain into killing Pro-Heroes for the benefit of the "League of Villains")
Weaknesses: To use the "Decay" Quirk on something, or someone, he must touch it with all of his five fingers. This weakness was later overcome. However, the speed of the "Decay" Quirk is lower if using less than five fingers. | His interrupted procedure prevents him from using the fullest extent of his abilities. Thus preventing him from stealing the "One For All" Quirk and slowing his "Super Regeneration" Quirk. His control of the "Decay" Quirk is also still imperfect, as he was unable to save all Nomus from its attack. He does not know how to use all the Quirks he received once he inherited the original "All For One" Quirk, and is also often possessed and controlled by All For One.
Notable Attacks/Techniques:
Decay: Tomura's original Quirk allows him to disintegrate anything that his hands touch, making it crumble to dust. Whether the target is organic or not. The disintegration will spread throughout their body if the victim does not amputate the decaying body part. As shown with Overhaul's arm and Re-Destro's legs. Tomura's control over his Quirk improved over time, as its speed became considerably faster in later usages. After the "Shie Hassaikai Arc", his Quirk can now spread between targets he isn't touching. Allowing him to instantly disintegrate large groups of enemies. After remembering the traumatic events of the past that were subconsciously holding him back, Shigaraki unleashed his Quirk's true power, creating a colossal crater in the "Deika City". After his surgery, he drastically increased both Decay's strength and precision. Allowing him to destroy a third part of "Jaku City", while saving several Nomus in Dr. Kyudai Garaki's lab.
All For One (Original): This Quirk allows him to steal other people's Quirks and use them as his own. He can also redistribute his stolen Quirks to other people.
