~ All Might's slogan

Background

Toshinori Yagi (八や木ぎ俊とし典のり Yagi Toshinori), also known as All Might (オールマイト Ōru Maito) or The Symbol of Peace (平和の象徴 Heiwa no Shōchō), is the tritagonist of the anime and manga series My Hero Academia. He serves as the "arc protagonist" of the "Hideout Raid Arc", the former No. 1 Pro-Hero in all of Japan, as well as the idol and mentor of Izuku Midoriya.

His main goal is to help Izuku Midoriya master the "One For All" Quirk, to put an end to All For One's influence on the world.

Powers and Stats

Key: Weakened | Prime | Armored All Might

Tier: At least 7-A , likely High 6-C | At least Low 6-B, likely far higher | Unknown physically, At least Low 6-B with Armored All Might

Dimensionality: 3-D

Powers and Abilities: Superhuman Physical Characteristics, Supernatural Willpower, Acrobatics, Martial Arts (Fought and defeated All For One twice. Which, in turn, is said to have an experience worth over a hundred years), Enhanced Senses (Possesses a supernatural sight), Breath Attack (Able to put out a fire using his breath), Air Manipulation (Able to generate air pressure with his attacks and generate tornadoes), Statistics Amplification (Able to increase his strength, durability and speed), Pseudo-Flight (Able to propel himself through the air using wind pressure), Pain Tolerance (Continued to fight "Prime" All For One, even after having his guts ripped from his body by him. After that, despite still sustaining this fatal wound, he continued his career as a Pro-Hero for several more years), Power Bestowal (Passed down the "One For All" Quirk to Izuku Midoriya), Fear Manipulation (Struck fear into the villains who were sent to assassinate him, through his simple determination to protect Midoriya at all costs), Electricity Manipulation (Via "Blackwhip/Chargebolt" Equipment), Acid Manipulation & Corrosion Inducement (Via "Super Acid Injection: Pinky" Equipment), Energy Projection (Via "Can't Stop Twinkling" Equipment), Resistance to Power Absorption (The "One For All" Quirk cannot be taken by force), Limited Reactive Evolution & Accelerated Development (Quirk users have been shown to evolve or increase the strength of their Quirk when in a life or death situation)

Attack Potency: At least Mountain level+ (Overpowered and destroyed a massive metal cube thrown by Wolfram. Performed a "Detroit Smash", while already reaching the limits of his transformation, powerful enough to bring in a nearby thunderstorm), likely Large Island level (Should be about comparable to Deku's 100% during the events of "Heroes Rising") | At least Small Country level (Much stronger than in his "Weakened" state. Stated that in his "Prime" he would have needed only 5 punches to defeat U.S.J. Nomu, instead of the over 300 punches he needed in his "Weakened" state), likely far higher (Fought and defeated "Prime" All For One by himself. Whose true power, in turn, was never truly shown in his battles with previous "One For All" Users) | Unknown physically (The exact strength he might have in his "Quirkless" form is unknown), At least Small Country level via “Armored All Might” (Able to unleash attacks that can damage "Teen" All For One)

Speed: At least High Hypersonic (Intercepted Wolfram's attack while moving at such speeds), likely Massively Hypersonic (Traveled from the "Might Tower" to the "Tokyo Sky Egg" in an incredibly short time span. Took down multiple villains with ease. Should be about comparable with 100% Deku) | Sub-Relativistic ("Weakened" All For One described his "Weakened" state as being incredibly slow, compared to his "Prime" state. Deku's "Faux 100%" was compared to what All Might might have been in his "Prime" state. Should still be superior to the same Star and Stripe, who was able to react to and block a laser beam) | At least Sub-Relativistic reactions and combat (Able to keep up with "Teen" All For One, and react to his attacks)

Lifting Strength: Class T (Able to withstand being pushed by large amounts of metal) | At least Class T (Much stronger than in his "Weakened" state) | Unknown physically (The physical strength that he might have in his "Quirkless" form is unknown), At least Class T via “Armored All Might” (Should be about comparable to "Teen" All For One)

Durability: Large Island level (Able to withstand the force of his own attacks) | At least Small Country level, likely far higher (Battled "Prime" All For One one-on-one, and endured having his guts ripped out of his body by him) | Unknown physically (The exact durability of his "Quirkless" form is unknown), At least Small Country level via “Armored All Might” (Able to survive some of "Teen" All For One's deadliest attacks)

Stamina: Extremely High (Continued to battle "Prime" All For One as his guts were ripped from his body by him. During his "Prime" state, All Might could perform hero work for more than "72 hours straight". Never showing any signs of exhaustion, even when fighting against multiple villains)

Range: Standard melee range, up to Tens of kilometers via "One For All" Quirk

Standard Equipment:

  • Air Pressure Shooting Torso Armor (formerly): At one point in his past, All Might wore armor over his torso that was designed to help him release pressurized air shots. This armor was designed to operate at 20-30% of his power. But due to his close-range fighting style, the bulky armor ended up being more baggage than it was worth, and it kept breaking, so he decided to stop using it.

  • Hercules: During the "Villain Hunt Arc", All Might received and began driving a heavily armored vehicle known as the "Hercules". This car has proven to be so durable that it can withstand a point blank grenade explosion with minimal damage.

  • Briefcase: During the "Villain Hunt Arc", All Might was given an unknown briefcase along with the heavily armored vehicle "Hercules". He's been seen carrying this briefcase with him everywhere, and it's believed to have some sort of connection to this new car of his.

  • High Density Weights (temporarily, during the events of the "Final Exams Arc"): Toshinori Yagi, and the rest of the U.A. teachers, used these bracelets to give themselves a handicap while they were fighting with their students.

  • Array of Support Items and Weapons: During the "Final War Arc", both "Hercules" and the mysterious briefcase he was seen carrying with him were shown to have the function of deploying a variety of support items and weapons. Together, the two make up the suit of armor that All Might decided to come equipped with for his final clash with All For One.

  • Armored All Might: During the "Final War Arc", in his final face-off against All For One, All Might equipped this high-tech suit of armor, as a last ditch effort to stop him from reaching Tomura Shigaraki. Comprised of the previously mentioned "Support Items" and "Weapons", this armor gives All Might access to a variety of high-tech gadgets that were inspired by the Quirks of his "Class 1-A" students.

Intelligence: Above Average (All Might, before retiring, was the top ranked Pro-Hero in all of Japan. Known for his countless acts of heroism, leading multiple operations against villainous teams, and saving countless lives during large-scale disasters. Is also an expert in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat, with an intelligence to match his unimaginable strength. Able to deduce that U.S.J. Nomu's "Shock Absorption" Quirk had a limit, and that he should have just kept hitting him until he exceeded that Quirk's limit)

Weaknesses: Using the "One for All" Quirk in its true form will damage his body, and each time he uses the Quirk's power, it will decrease. Can only maintain his "hero" form for three hours a day, which will later become an hour and a half once he passes this Quirk on to Midoriya. Has a weak spot on the left side of his torso, and his true form is sick and often coughs or spits blood. Currently, his "hero" form transformation is limited to a few seconds, and he can no longer use his powers or be All Might. | The "Armored All Might" is not invincible, and therefore its use is limited by the amount of damage it takes.

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

One For All: Transferred to him from Nana Shimura, Toshinori's Quirk allows him to stockpile an enormous amount of raw power, allowing him to significantly enhance all of his physical abilities to a superhuman level. This results in unbelievable levels of strength, speed, stamina, agility, and durability.

  • United States of Smash: All Might's final and strongest move. Using the last embers of One For All left in him, All Might delivers a massive punch with enough force to reverberate shock-waves.

United States of Smash

  • Shoot Style Smash: Inspired by Deku's "Full Cowl - Shoot Style". While empowered by the "Sugarman" Equipment, All Might hits his opponent with a powerful kick.
