The residents of the Unknown are semi-aware of their status as fictional beings. As such, the powers they have can interwind fiction with reality. Wielding the metaphysical energies of Unknown grants it's users advanced abilities that warps reality and grant wishes, as well as transform people and things into their desired state.[1]
The entire plane is built on belief - whatever one might believe, it can be reality. Powers within Unknown residents, and those who are empowered by it, manifests in different ways depending on their belief, their idea and vision.[2]
Unknown Energy Users

- Resistance Negation: Unknown Energy bypasses physical resistances of those who don't[3] originate from Unknown itself.[4] When the X-O Manowar took a hold of Unknown originated weapon, it began messing with his armor, trying to compromise it.[5]
- Energy Projection: Unknown Energy users can project[5] energy in[6] myriad[2] of ways.[7]
- Energy Manipulation: Can manipulate the cosmic energies of Unknown to suit their need. Unknown Energy users are able to break apart other energy based constructs with a touch.[4]

- Wish Granting, Biological Manipulation, Technology Manipulation, Transmutation, Corruption (Type 1): Entitles that don't originate from the Unknown, when they come in contact with[1] its energies are transformed into their desired being, even changing their forms and shapes completely. They are granting them their wish. For example, when Divinity first came to earth, he changed a number of people around him into their desired form.[8][9] Capable of corrupting technology as well.[5]
- Subjective Reality: Can interwind desired fiction with reality, making whatever they desire real.[1] Divinity materliased the stories they read as children in his fight against Kazmir.[6]
- Resists all basic abilities. For example, Unknown Energy Users and Unknown residents can fight each other but are not affected[10] by their basic abilities.[2][11]
- Limited Information Analysis: The energy itself cannot be sensed or scanned[3] by even the most advanced AI[4] with their scanning abilities such as X-O Manowar armor.

- Passive Reality Warping: The Unknown is built on a belief system, which also extends to their people. Their primary ability is reality warping, thus whatever they belief, becomes reality.[2] The very presence of these beings changes their surroundings. When Atom-13 and other Unknown beings came down to a lower world, their belief system powered by their reality bending abilities changed them and their environments. On Earth, X-O Manowar could not affect them, but a normal human was able to harm them because at that moment, Unknown beings subconsciously considered that human to be more of a warrior than Aric himself, thus capable of affecting them.[3]
