Ashen Burrow feats

Introduction

Here i will list all the quantifiable feats from when Nephis, Sunny and Cassie were trapped under a mind hex in the Ashen Burrow during the later chapters of volume 1 of Shadow Slave.

Size of the Ashen Burrow (needed for the next two feats)

Statement: The world tree in Ariel's death game was stated to be at leat 10x taller than the Soul Devouring tree.

That tree was also stated to tower above the mountains in Ariel’s Game which are way taller than the tallest ones in the real world, so I can just use 10 km for a lowball.

Tree roots spread around 2 to 4 times the diameter of the crown

Average: ( 4 + 2 ) / 2 = 3

he crown of a tree is sometimes around the same size as the height of the tree, especially when it comes to species like oak trees.

10000 x 3 = 30000 meters.

650 x 3 = 1950 meters.

For an enormous tree like this, the island needs to be wide enough to support deep roots and withstand gravitational and environmental forces so saying island diameter is 2-3x the spread of the base roots is not that crazy to say.

Average: ( 2 + 3 ) / 2 = 2.5

Diameter: 30000 x 2.5 = 75000 / 10 = 7500m

Awekened Demon Shakes the Ashen Burrow

Feat: Carapace Demon causes a minor earthquake that can be felt on the whole island.

for earthquake below 60km the formula is: (Magnitude at distance) + 0.0238 x R (radius is in km) = Righter Magnitude

• magnitude at distance is between 4 and 5 as there was shaking but no vissible damage so i will use 4.5
• radius is 3.75 km as the entire island shook

4.5 + 0.0238 x 3.75 = 4.58925

Formula for energy of earthquakes is: E = 10^^{1.5x(Richter Magnitude)+4.8}

E= 10^^{1.5 x 4.58925 + 4.8} = 482919786547 Joules or 115 tons

Multi-City Block Level

Cassie Lifts Some Sand

Feat: Cassie uses her staff to move some sand away from the Ashen Barrow.

Diameter of the island is 7500 m meaning the area is 44178646.691106 m^2. However this has to slightly changed as its only a "large portion".

A large portion is highly subjective and depends on context, but according to this source, the lowest it can be is 1% and the highest is somewhere around 50% due to it being half of 100%. since it is highly subjective i will use 20% as a lowballed estimate.

7500 / 5 = 1500 meters

But this will be divided again because it seems this is an omnidirectional movement, so the real distance will be 750 meters

44178646.691106 / 5 = 8835729.33822 m^2

Sand is around 2m deep on beaches according to this source. lowballing slightly as it is not a beach we can use 1 meters deep sand

Volume: 8835729.33822 x 1 = 8835729.33822 m^3

The density of sand is 1602kg/m^3

Mass = Density x Volume

Mass: 8835729.33822 x 1602 = 14154838399.8 kg

Now for speed it is pretty easy, as sunny uses the words "instantly", implying it was extremely fast. therefore i will use 1 second for the sand to travel the radius.

Speed = 750 m/s (Supersonic)

Since it seems to be omnidirectional movement we can use this formula: Kinetic Energy = 1/12 x Mass x (Speed Of Mass)^2

KE = 1/12 x 14154838399.8 x 750^2 = 6.6350805e+14 Joules or 158.5 kilotons

Large Town Level

Sunny's views time as slowed

Statement: Sunny perceives moments as hours.

A “couple of” is a term that can refer to numbers from 2 to 5 depending on context, considering that the characters are fighting it should be 2 moments.

Also “moment” is a word used in reference to really short undefined periods of time, here it should refer to seconds when we consider that weaker characters have verbatim subsonic speed statements.

As for the time he perceived; we can just use 2 for a lowball as the text says “hours” in plural.

Formula for perception speed for such feats: Real Time / Perceived Time = Perception Speed

2 / 7200 = 0.00027s

Hypersonic+

Nephis Blitzing Sunny

Feat: Sunny kidnaps cassie and builds a boat only to be stopped by nephis.

They are standing on a beach. A beach is on average 50 meters wide. Now the boat is "a few" meters away from the water. A few refers to "more than 2, but less than many". So we will say its 5 meters away from the water. Nephis here is also in front of a boat. The average modern boat is around 20 - 30 feet in length.

Average: ( 20 + 30 ) / 2 = 25 feet

25 feet = 7.62 meters

Meaning nephis is standing this far away from him

7.62 + 5 = 12.62 meters

Distance: 50 - 12.62 = 37.38 meters

As we saw before, Sunny had a Hypersonic+ statemant earlier this arc, so we can use that.

Speed = Distance / Time

37.38 / 0.00027 = 138444 m/s or 406 mach
