The nest is of a roughly Spherical in shape and was buildt around one of the legs of a statue made for one of the heroes of the forgotten shore, and those are 200 meters tall .
Final Size of Nest[]
Shape of spider nests is usually something called orb webs, but that's not really the case here as the nest is 3 dimenshional. Also for the sphere formula we will assume it reaches up to the statue's knee, which would be 50 meters diameter.
Sphere Volume formula: V = 4/3 x π x R^3
4/3 x π x 25^3 = 65449.8 m^3
Now accounting for 85% hollowness; 9817.4 m^3
Energy Calculation[]
As the iron cables were "melting", which usually occures when a substance absorbs a large ammount of heat from it's enviroment, we can use the temperature change formula, which is: E = M x C x ΔT. Where
- M is the mass of the substance
- C is the specific heat capacity
- ΔT is the temperature change

The formula for this is: Mass = Volume x Density
We already know the overall volume of the cables that make up the nest and the Dansity of iron is 7874 kg/m^3 sooo:
9817.4 x 7874 = 77302207.6 kg

Aperantly this is 450J/kg*C
Temperature Change[]
Firstly, i will assume the place was at around room temperature (20 °C), secondly, the Melting Point of iron is 1538°C.
Temp Change Formula: ΔT = T_i - T_F where T_I is the initial temperature and T_F is the final temperature
20 - 1538 = -1518 °C
Total Energy[]
Obviously applying the formula now
- Low end: 77302207.6 x 450 x 1538 = 5.3500858e+13 Joules
Real Energy Output[]
Considering it took "few" minutes for her to get out of there and then she had to climb up and the nest still hadn't finished melting i will assume the timeframe in which this happened to be in around the 10 minute or 600 seconds.
5.3500858e+13 / 600 = 89168096666.7 Joules or 21 tons
