Introductions[]
Hi Guys, I'm Re5yh, today, we will be finding out of how powerful is Khaos from mythology. When I created a thread about where Khaos scales to on this wiki, a lot of people said that Khaos is 11-C at peak which is pretty wrong and I don't really know where did they got this from. So I am going to show you where he scales at peak by using the actual mythology, not 11-C jokes, but for REAL.
Scaling Time[]
| “ | At the beginning there was only Chaos, Night, dark Erebus, and deep Tartarus. Earth, the air and heaven had no existence. Firstly, blackwinged Night laid a germless egg in the bosom of the infinite deeps of Erebus, and from this, after the revolution of long ages, sprang the graceful Eros with his glittering golden wings, swift as the whirlwinds of the tempest. He mated in deep Tartarus with dark Chaos, winged like himself, and thus hatched forth our race, which was the first to see the light. That of the Immortals did not exist until Eros had brought together all the ingredients of the world, and from their marriage Heaven, Ocean, Earth, and the imperishable race of blessed gods sprang into being. Thus our origin is very much older than that of the dwellers in Olympus. We [birds] are the offspring of Eros; there are a thousand proofs to show it. We have wings and we lend assistance to lovers. How many handsome youths, who had sworn to remain insensible, have opened their thighs because of our power and have yielded themselves to their lovers when almost at the end of their youth, being led away by the gift of a quail, a waterfowl, a goose, or a cock. | „ |

Here, we see that Khaos was an infinite void of non-existence where it gave birth to the primordials Erebus (Darkness), Eros (Love), Tartarus (The Abyss), Nyx (Night) and Gaia (Earth).
| “ | First of all Chaos came into being, and then broad-bosomed Earth (Gaia), a firm seat of all things for ever, and misty Tartaros, deep down in broadpathed earth, and Eros, the most beautiful among the immortal gods, he who loosens our limbs, and subdues the mind and thoughtful counsel of all gods and men. From Chaos, Erebos and black Night came into being, and from Night, again, came Aither and Day, whom she conceived and bore after having mingled in love with Erebos. Now Earth first of all brought forth starry Ouranos, equal to herself, so that it would cover her on all sides, to be a firm seat for the blessed gods forever. She also brought forth large mountains, the beautiful abode of the divine Nymphs who dwell in the woody mountains. She also bore the unharvested sea, seething with its swell, Pontos, without an act of delightful love. Then she slept with Ouranos and bore Okeanos with his deep eddies | „ |
| ~ Theogony of Hesiod, 116–133 |
Gaia was born out of infinite nothingness as it is shown here. Gaia was said to be the entire Earth itself who gave birth to Titans.
Khoas was also said to be a limited void
| “ | In the limitless void (khaos) he [the eagle] plies his fine-feathered plumage before the blasts of the west wind. | „ |
| ~ Bacchylides, Fragment 5 (trans. Campbell, Vol. Greek Lyric IV) (C5th B.C.) |
Yeah, nothing to say at least, but there are weird versions that Khaos was born from Khronos (Time himself) which makes Khaos powerful, but not as supreme:
| “ | United with it [Khronos (Chronos), Time] was Ananke (Inevitability), being of the same nature, or Adrastea, incorporeal . . . this is the great Khronos (Unaging Time) that we found in it [the Rhapsodies], the father of Aither (Aether) [upper air] and Khaos (Chaos, the Chasm) [lower air]. Indeed, in this theology too [the Hieronyman Rhapsodies], this Khronos (Time), the serpent has offspring, three in number : moist Aither (Light)--I quote--, unbounded Khaos (Chaos) [Air], and as a third, misty Erebos (Darkness) . . . Among these, he says, Khronos (Time) generated an egg [containing the mix of solid matter--earth, sea and sky | „ |

Conclusion[]
After that, Khaos should be around 2-C at least. Next, I will be scaling the Primordials from greek mythology to see where they scale to above this fodder
