
Introduction[]
Yes, it's another blog on BABA IS YOU and this time, instead of going over the mechanics of the verse and how they apply to a standard versus debate, I think we should actually show where BABA would sit in terms of scaling. Surprisingly, this puzzle game does have some feats that can be used to gauge how powerful the series would be, so this isn't just hax-based as initially thought
Given we've established that gameplay is a fundamental part of the game and that using it is valid, this opens more possibilities as to what we can use as far as actual scaling goes. You might wanna buckle up because this one is gonna be a bit a slug to go through, maybe not as much as the first blog but still a tad bit complicated nonetheless
ROCK IS PUSH[]
Context: BABA is capable of easily pushing boulders larger than himself at fast speeds
- Obviously, this would mean KE is applicable here and considering the mechanics of the game, I see no reason why we shouldn't use it as that's one of the mechanics of the game per nature of a being a logic puzzle game
We don't know what BABA is but the general census among players is that BABA is a sheep. So using the length of an adult sheep, we can assume that BABA is 1.3 meters
- BABA is 1.3 meters and is 43 pixels
- The Rock is 52.04 pixels
- This means that if 43 pixels equal 1.3 meters, then 1 pixel is 0.03023255813 meters
- 52.04 x 0.03023255813 = 1.57330232509 meters
- Plugging this into a sphere calculator, we get 16.3126742 m^3
- 16.3126742 x 2700 (as it should have the density of granite) gets us 44,044.22034 kg
This would mean that BABA is able to move this much with physical force, thus he'd be Class 10
KE Speed[]
As mentioned above, we can apply Kinetic Energy to this but the issue is we don't know how fast BABA is actually moving...Is what we would say is if we didn't have the means to figure that out, which we do as we tend to. Since we know BABA is 1.3 meters, this means every tile/space would also be roughly the same lengthy and the amount of spaces a map can have is 18 (from what I've seen) from up to side
- 18 x 1.3 = 23.4 meters
- BABA can move this distance in about 1 second (I wish I could record this so you gonna have to take my word on this)
- This would mean that BABA is moving at 23.4 meters (Superhuman)
With all that in mind, moving 44,044.22034 kg at 23.4 meters per second would equate to 12,058,426.644685 Joules (Wall Level+)
BABA IS REVISION[]
So, I guess I should address the elephant in the room and say that yes, I'm aware Saikou covered this verse before me and the likes. For the most part, I do agree but there are some things I believe should be tweaked just a bit, which is what this section seeks to cover, anything that is of my own will be in another section. This isn't to knock Saikou either BTW
BABA IS WALL[]
Taking the numbers that are established considering that are basically the same as mines with maybe one pixel being off (which might be a monitor thing, who knows), we can find another yield using the stuff we've found
- A single wall in this game is about 72,999.936 kg
- We know that BABA can move at 23.4 meters per second
- This means that BABA's movement yielded 19,985,922.47808 Joules (Wall Level+; just bordering into Small Building Level)
We aren't finished here as BABA is capable of moving as an entire row of said walls, which can come in 18 pairs and considering that they should have the same volume when placed together, this becomes rather simple
- A wall in itself is 45.568 m^3 and we multiply that by 18 to get 820.224 m^3
- 820.224 m^3 x 1,602 equals to 1,313,998.848 kg
- Being able to move that at the same speeds as above would yield 359,746,604.60544 Joules (Small Building Level)
BABA IS LEVEL[]
There isn't much to change about this either, the pixel scaling checks out as noted above, so all that would need to be adjusted for is speed. The original calc doesn't mention that theoretically BABA can move the same as they did when it was a sheep, which was 18 tiles/spaces in about a second (or just less than 2 seconds, it depends)
- 18 x 1559 = 28,062 m/s (High Hypersonic+)
- Using kinetic energy, we get a yield of 3.0614343404513e+19 Joules (Island Level; 7 Gigatons)
The same same but for becoming the world itself
- 18 x 56,124 = 1,010,232 m/s (Massively Hypersonic)
- Using kinetic energy, we get a yield of 1.8476991771233e+27 Joules (Multi-Continent Level; 441 Petatons)
BABA IS DUST[]
Now we head about to stuff that is of my own work, which is moving onto an important and likely contentious part of this blog. We move into the "DUST" nouns, which BABA can push should he be available to actually push things in a given level. Now, given both the visuals of the noun, the context/location in which they appear and other factors...we can safely say they are stars...Let's do a bit of analysis
Elaborating on what was said above, here's how we can say with certainty that what's depicted above ARE stars
- They originate from and only exist in space levels
- We see that they are distinctly different from "STAR", which are obviously fake stars
- "DUST" is seemingly in reference to the origin of stars, which are typically born through huge heaps of dust and gas compacted by immense gravity
- They twinkle, which is a trait often associated with stars and implies they are giving off light
Now considering that BABA can move these stars, that would mean he should scale to them and considering the speed he moves them at would likely be FTL speeds (Moving the sun by it's diameter in a second would be 4x FTL specifically)
- The GBE of the sun is 5.693e+41 Joules
- We multiply that by 4 since "DUST" depicts there being a group of four stars
- This gives us 2.2772e+42 Joules (Star Level+; 544.264 Tenatons)
Alternatively, we could use KE for this, in which case:
- The Sun weights in at 1.9885×1030 kilograms
- 0.5 x 1.9885e30 x 1,199,000,000^2 = 1.4293348e+48 Joules (4-B - Solar System Level)
Oh and before people say "The stars are small", remember when I say that they twinkle...Well that implies they are distance stars and close to BABA, meaning that this doesn't prove the stars are simply small stars and thus the above still applies. Keep in mind this is BABA's natural strength that does this and not some amp he gets via manipulating nouns and operations
BABA IS DUST[]
So through the sentence "BABA IS DUST", it is capable of becoming all "DUST" (which we established above as stars) in a corresponding level. Let's calculate the upper limit of this shall we ?
- In BABA IS YOU, a level has a total of 18 spaces by 18 spaces with 18 rows
- This means that there are a total of 54 tiles
- We can subtract one row considering that BABA needs at least one to assemble his words and activate this (which becomes 18 x 18 x 17 = 53 spaces)
- 53 (spaces) x 4 ("DUST" aka stars) = 212 Stars
- 212 (stars) x 5.693e+41 (Sun's GBE) = 1.206916e+44 Joules (1.2 FOE)
Alternatively, we could use KE like the above section
- Since this is basically the same calc as above, this would mean we can multiply the result of the above and multiply it by 212 to give us a yield of 3.0301898e+50 Joules (4-B - Solar System Level)
BABA IS ROCKET[]
This is the last part of this blog and here we figure out the speed of BABA. Explaining the context, there is a noun called "ROCKET" in the game and not only is it capable of traveling into deep space but also able to distance stars
It's never officially stated where Rocket Trip takes place within space, given the the alarming presence of celestial bodies in huge groups, I think we can say BABA traveled to a star cluster, with the closest being Hyades at a distance of 153 lightyears
- Let's just say the timeframe in the time it takes to transition to a level, considering all that is in-universe is BABA going to a location (which would be 2 seconds)
- This means that "ROCKET" can move at 2,414,198,436c (2 Billion times FTL; Massively FTL+)
You may be wondering why this scales ? Well it does for a multitude of reasons
- BABA is capable of becoming ROCKET and naturally moving, being able to make twists and turns with ease
- BABA can also keep up with ROCKET in speed
It isn't like this is an outlier either, when BABA becomes stars, he can move the diameter of a star and still have good enough reaction/movement speed to make natural twists and turns (which reminders would be FTL territory). This just shows that BABA can not only properly react to such movements but even move them when given the opportunity
